Good morning Andrea and all that follow.
Hope you manage to get back to sleep or you'll have to have a little snooze at your weekly chill session Smile
I wanted to sleep but kept coughing so just gave in and got up, made the pack lunches and the washing is on. Can't do much else for a while, don't think my neighbours would appreciate me putting the hoover round affraid
Have a lovely day Smile

Good morning Andrea, Di and all who follow, hope you are not too tired today after your early morning both of you Shocked We are off with our walking group this morning, and part of the walk is the Brookwood Cemetry so should be interesting Very Happy Rained overnight but seems to have stopped now so hope that's it until after our walk. Hugs to all the poorlies out there. My sore throat seems to come and go at the moment, and I had a sinus headache most of the day yesterday, but touch wood, all is well at the moment Very Happy

Morning ladies...

We have sunshine at the moment, but when I took the children up to school... it was wet rain!!!
Plan of action today... mopping, hoovering and a bit of dusting. Still got the dogs, but they go back on Thursday, and not a day too soon!!! Its all very well looking after one dog, but 3 of them is hard work. And they are big dogs, which means big dogs leave big parcels .. if you know what I mean Laughing
Having hair cut today.
Jacky.. Amy is exactly the same as you, she has had a sore throat and it comes and goes - yest she doesnt feel ill.
Well... better get on, have a lovely day xx

Morning ladies. Miserable and wet here so staying in! have cleaned kitchen and now got some Curried Parsnip soup simmering away for lunch. Need to get stuff ready for scrapbooking tomorrow and need to do it in daylight as otherwise colours can look a bit funny. Hope you enjoy your walk Jacky. Keep meaning to go to Brookwood cemetery as used to work almost next to it and never went.

Got up late after reading in bed for ages. The rain and thunder have been aweful this morning and the water is almost up to our back door - the result of the flash floods have hung around ............even on our chalky ground!

Made some soup (scotch broth) for supper and had smoked salmon and salad for lunch - needed a treat! Spent the rest of the morning playing in the craft room trying to get my mojo working again. Posted 3 'forever friends' cards in the gallery.

I've been affected by SAD sydrome earlier this year and am desperately counting down the days till our trip to Oz. Thank goodness we had that break in Suffolk last week while it was still warm and dry - I really needed a break after the aweful summer we had. Shanme I didn't manage to get out much in September when we had all that lovely sun.

Need to tidy up now and then catch up with a few programmes on IPlayer. At least there are a few blue patches of sky now and the sun is trying to pop out.

Walk wasnt too bad this morning, spitting a little when we started but not enough to put my rain jacket on. Stopped soon and was alright until about 15 mins before the end of the walk when it really came down. Think we were lucky looking at Jane's posting Shocked Karen I don't feel ill either, just annoying sore throat or runny nose Laughing Laughing I bet you are counting the days until the dogs go now Neutral
