Spooky Saturday - Happy Halloween!
Good morning all my spooky mates!!!
Happy Halloween xxxx Hope you have nice scary evenings tonite!!!!
Shell and her lot are going home tomorrow morning Time seems to have flown. This is only the second time since they have been here that I have been able to get online!
We went to Butlins yesterday, all the others had a fab time on the rides and in the pool... but me and Emily didn't She was feeling really poorly and she has a stinking cold bless her , I said she couldn't go in the pool but had said she could go on the rides etc..... trouble was she was feeling that poorly she was scared to go on them aswell! She couldn't understand why she felt scared when she usually loves them.... I told her it was just that she was feeling ickky... and that we are all a bit funny when we are poorly, but she was devastated. She was sooo sad when we were sitting watching the others in the pool, I felt like such a mean mum, it would have been kinder of me to keep her at home, she had these little tears in her eyes, made me wanna cry
Shell didn't go in the pool either but the men and the 3 other girls did....
Sounds like you have all had a busy week, hope you are surviving the kids being off and maybe even the OH's!!!
Never mind... peace will be restored again next week

Re: Spooky Saturday - Happy Halloween!
Good morning Lou, and all who follow. Glad you have enjoyed your week with Shell and hugs to Emily - nothing worse than being ill when you are supposed to be having fun and off school
I wasnt too good yesterday in the evening, pains which seemed to be in my chest but think it was more to do with the Chinese take away
and overeating. Fine this morning though
Martin is at golf all day and I am catching up on Holby, Casualty and Ugly Betty
Just feel like chilling out today. Hugs to all the poorlies and hope you are feeling a bit better
Enjoy yourselves whatever you are doing

Re: Spooky Saturday - Happy Halloween!
Morning ladies (just!). Had to clear up a load of rubbish out of back garden this mornign - carrier bag, juice carton, tissues etc. Goodness knows how it got there. If someone had thrown it over they would have had to walk up neighbours drive first - I suppose it might have been a fox emptying the waste bin by the bus stop on main road.
Glad you're feeling a bit better this morning Jacky. Must say I'm just about back to normal self now and have been catching up on all the jobs that didn't get done while I felt rough.

Re: Spooky Saturday - Happy Halloween!
Good afternoon everyone.
Glad to hear you are feeling better now Jacky and Sue. It's funny I caught up with Ugly Betty, Holby and Merlin this morning, I'm sure I never recorded this many programmes before having the V+ box.
Poor Emily I do hope she feels better today and manages to get to Butlins when both you and she are feeling better again
All our craft centrals which were local are now no closed and don't really have any good crafty shops nearby. But just got a new Hobby Craft open nearby so going to pop over and take a look this afternoon.

Re: Spooky Saturday - Happy Halloween!
We usually get a fair few as I used to work at the playschool on the estate and most know where to find me
Didnt get many last year as I think they have all grown up now the last children I had have just started senior schools
how time flies. Watched a bit of tv but then went to the garden centre to get a couple of plants to replace the weeds I pulled up yesterday
so have been out in the garden again while it is nice

Re: Spooky Saturday - Happy Halloween!
I have the computer for 10 whole mins! Woo hoo.
Hugs to those who have been or are unwell. HAd my daughter of the week before 1/2 term. She wasn't well at all.
Dressed up and went trick or treating to the houses I know do a few sweeties. My daughter finally gone clunk. I think she has lived off nervous energy. We had more this year than the last few. Enjoyed it. I actually scrapped my halloween photo 's from last year today at work.
I now have a few from this year to decide what I am doing with them.
Off to get my kit together as I am racing tomorrow. (Oh goody rain and gailforce winds and its a trail race so add some mud. Wey hey - not)
HAve a good evening all.
xx
