Sunny Saturday
Morning!
Lovely morning here! Not much planned for me today, hoping to get some crafting done as it seems ages since I have had 'ME' time!!!
Realised last night we only have another 2 weeks till we go away (if we go) Keith has phoned the Travel agents to request extra pillows on the plane and in the hotel room, also asked for priority boarding and a ground floor hotel room, with hopefully 2 bedroomed apartment - hoping that way he will have a choice of beds to try out. If needs be we will cancel, but I know he wants to go. Drs. have said he can go.. so will have to see, we are seeing improvement in him every week.
Hope you all have a lovely day, see you later xx

Re: Sunny Saturday
Morning girls,
Thought I really had had a whack on the head yesterday when I came on here and started seeing double!!!!!!!!!!!
Waiting to see if my dad is gonna take us on a drive out today, sun is shining already
Had several large brandy and cokes last night to settle my nerves
but still found it hard to sleep....
Don't feel too bad this morning though so that's good, have just taken my painkillers so soon I'll be able to stand up straight and get on with things!!!
Hope everyone has a fabby day x Thanks for all the comments yesterday, I certainly will be staying away from Iceland today and gawd help any peeps that look at me funny!!!

Re: Sunny Saturday
Look now you have me doing it too he he
Morning ladiesIt's the best kind of weather here at the moment, it pours down over night and is bright and fresh in the morning he he
I hope that Keith will be well enough for you to go on your holiday, I'm sure he will be and as the doctor has passed him as ok for flying the rest and relaxation will be good for him Smile He has the perfect excuse for lying around on the sun beds he he
The BBQ sounds great Jacky, glad it went so well. It must have been all the fun and fresh air that had your stomach calling out for more of the same this morning he he. Enjoy Newbury, and all who are going Smile I was going to go this year but events changed my mind he he. Remember that you all have to let us enjoy it vicariously by showing us the goodies you bought he he.
Enjoy your babysitting Janet, I love it when I get to do the whole grandma bit but my daughter doesn't go out often, she's a home bird so I don't get to do it as often as I would like
Hope you are having a great lie-in Jan and feel much better for it
Hugs and positive vibes for all

Re: Sunny Saturday
Had a good day at Newbury - missed you Jacky! Much quieter than the last time I was there.
A couple of the regulars weren't there but still plenty to see and a few good bargains around too.
Saw lots of new embossing folders for the cuttlebug. I was tempted with 1 and bought a couple of clear stamps, some templates, ribbon and pretty sequin/flowers from the Glitter Girls but I was a good girl and only took £40 in cash and kept my emergency card locked in the car. There's just a few pence left but I'm happy.
Got the new curtains up and am now dismantling one of the wardrobes in our old bedroom and moving furniture around. I'm ashamed to say you could grow mushrooms in the dust and fluff. Sent Clive down the road for some more Flash, window cleaner and polish!
Smells like the roast pork is ready so bye for now

Re: Sunny Saturday
Afternoon all, had a lovely time at Newbury, saw Celie, Wendy and Rosemary but not you Jane. Think I spent more than you on one stall Jane
Couldnt resist the Penny Black stamps. They had one marked up at £9.50 and then it was £5.50 in the bargain pile, and the same with another one reduced to £4.50 - they were ones I was thinking of getting anyway but definitely at that price
and many more
I resisted the Cuttlebug folders but bought some Quickutz nesting cutters. Can't remember what else but when I get everything out of my bag I will take a photo
Martin went to sit outside halfway round so doesnt know of all my goodies yet
