Post  Craftworker on Fri Nov 26, 2010 11:31 am

I am asking a favour - this is the charity Sally is helping out on and they need votes to get some funding could you please vote for Step by Step which is a charity helping homeless children in Aldershot/Farnborough area.

Good news! We have been nominated as a finalist for the Natwest Community Fund. In order to win we need to start voting for Step by Step, please could you take a couple of minutes to fill in the form and send this link all your friends and family.

First click on https://communityfund.natwest.com/Vote then put in our postcode GU11 1SJ and then finally select Farnham and vote. Please don’t forget to add in your personnel details.

Thanks,

Annette Althen

Thanks Lexie Very Happy Mum just phoned to say she was watching Countdown and the girl playing said she was proud of the fact that she helped to set up a soup kitchen in Exeter when she was at University. I dashed downstairs and luckily the box was on the right channel so that I could rewind it and it was Sally's friend Kate. They worked at the soup kitchen together Very Happy

I like community efforts , our church does alot for local community , somehow more satisfying than big huge organisations where people are paid a fortune ! OK Iam off my soap box now !
