Wednesday
Morning...
Another beautiful morning. All windows and doors open.
Keith had his op yesterday, in the end they couldnt do keyhole surgery on him and had to do open surgery. Phoned several times yesterday and was told he was still in recovery - apparently he didnt move onto the ward until 11.00 last night. He was in a lot of pain and they were trying to get that under control. Keith did manage to ring me, but he sounded very groggy - have phoned the Hospital this morning and they suggested I ring later and hopefully know more.
So today, washing, ironing and maybe a bit of weeding.

Re: Wednesday
Morning ladies.
Karen, so pleased you were able to speak to Keith, and when you have seen him you will feel better still. Do keep us updated on him.
I am hoping for more sun today, the housework can wait

Re: Wednesday
Morning Marion and Karen. Don't blame you leaving h******k Marion - make the most of this sun just in case it doesn't last! Pleased you got to speak to Keith, Karen even if he was a bit groggy- hope you find out whats what soon. I've got tai chi this morning but am very tempted to just do some more in the garden instead. I can't believe that what I did yesterday which was kneeling down weeding and loosening soil with a hand fork has left the back of my thighs stiff this morning. I suppose it was just using a different set of muscles to those I use in crafting
Re: Wednesday
You go steady with that gardening Sue!! Last year when I did a bit of weeding, I ended up with that sciatica... touch wood, it is a lot easier now... still get the odd twinge going down into my big toe - but even that has felt better this past few days.
