it's Tuesday
Good morning all,
Lou I hope hubby is feeling better today and didn't have too much pain last night, I always find thing hurt more at night.
I thought I would share this with you all, it's funny and sad. My sister died three years ago from Cancer she was just 50, things have been hard, many times I have gone to call her only to remember she is not there and as you can imagine things have been very difficult for mum, well yesterday she phoned up BT because she wants to go to paperless billing, but as she doesn't have a PC she used my detail, when she was asked for a memerable word or date to use she said yes my daughter died three years ago, I said I don't think thats the kind of thing they were after. This is so my mum, she thinks there are two M25 because one goes one way and one goes the other, you have to love herlol
I now have the hang of up loading pictures so I shall be puting them up instead of just saying what I have done.
I hope all the hugs helped yesterday, good things do happen at this time of year also, my son Daniel was born on 22nd Dec 1983, I was at 35 weeks and had to have a cesarian(sp?) as I had very high blood pressure, so he weighed 3lb 7 oz but had to have major surgery to have a colostomy and his weight dropped to 1lb 7oz and he was 9 inches long, he is now soon to be 25 is 5 ft 10" tall and built like a brick ...... house, he loves to hear the story of his birth. When he was born he was taken to another hospital to have his operation so I only saw him for a few mins before he was wisked away, I was unable to see him until Christmas day, when the hospital I was in took me to see him, so he was my Chrimbo present.
Whos got their Chrimbo decorations up yet? ours go up on my b'day 15th, this was something mum started and we have all followed.
Breakie is calling I hope you all have a really great day, wrap up well and stay warm
Hugs for anyone in need.
xx

Morning Mikki, Jayne and all who follow
Mikki.. love what your mum said, and as for the M25??? that is the sort of thing I would say! Not very good with maps... ask my hubby!
Think we will be putting our deccies up at the weekend, normally have them up for the 1st, but had a busy weekend so they didnt get put up. But its starting to look a lot like christmas... tra la la la lah!!!! singing that song now
We have a dusting of the white stuff, and its very cold out, so could get some more.
Dont have any children until 11.00 as the mum is off work, but going shopping so will have them until she gets back.
Have a lovely day, take care

Just about still Morning, hi everyone. Went shopping this morning just for a few food items and then called in the shop I used to work in to catch up with everyone
My daughter sent me a text Sunday night with a photo of her Christmas Tree and the words Christmas has started. It looked beautiful but I dont put mine up til nearer the day. Think I may have your breakfast for lunch Mikki, sounds really good What a lovely husband you have, Martin tries Only joking, he is really good to me The sun has disappeared here now, although it has been out all morning. Looking a bit dull now.
Hope everyone enjoys their day, hugs for those who need them still

Re: it's Tuesday
Didn't quite make the good morning bit I'm afraid... have been down town christmas shopping....hands are not impressed with all those bags to carry now so please excuse any spelling lapses!!!
Ady is fine, he went off to work this morning, he had to have some strong painkillers last night to get to sleep as I think the feeling was coming back! His bandage this morning looked like something out of a horror film though LOL May have to be redressed before 1 week is up....I have a mate who is a nurse and she has offered to do it for him luckily.
Hope you all have a fab day xxx

Re: it's Tuesday
Thankyou for sharing Mikki
Both the good and the bad
This is what the Forum is about
I am soooo pleased for you getting a place on the workshop
You must let us know all about it........every detail
Illness is so much better to handle when you have an understanding partner
But just remember Nikki like the M25 going both ways so do good partnerships
So you obviously deserve all these things
I had another official visitor this morning
And hopefully I may have some good news within the next 2 weeks
They are assessing me for a home help and it looks like I may be entitled to financial help with it
Now I just have to find out how many hours I am due each week
Keep your fingers crossed all
Poor Alan has been run ragged and I do worry about him
If this happens then it will take some of the pressure off him so wish me luck girls

Good afternoon everyone
Been busy doing washing and h*******k this morning, feel much better now it is all done, well just a few more bits spinning round in the tumbler
My pregnancy was a breeze, didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 5 months gone, worked up till I was 7 and 1/2 months at the kennels I was at.
Lucky you Mikki regarding the workshops, don't seem to get anything like that down this way
Good luck Sadie

Re: it's Tuesday
Im normally working Tuesdays but this morning I turned on Radio Lancashire and heard that the school was shut. So was very lazy and went back to bed. I then got up and did some housework . Then have started my watercolour paintings, which I am quite pleased with! Sorry to hear about the bad news Micki that you have had in the past . We all have bad stuff, out of it does come good.
The course sounds nice ! Im meeting up with my sister at the weekend and she has asked me to take some of my sketches and painting to her church. They are having a Christmas Craft event there on Monday. I havent done any stuff for ages, so im rushing around trying to find old stuff to take to show folk. I did think i wouldnt do anymore painting after suffering a mild stroke last year but you know things have to go on and i do enjoy doing it! Take care everone from Kate.

Re: it's Tuesday
Good afternoon ladies! I'm a bit late today. Went to pilates this morning then food shopping for all the things I forgot yesterday!. Decided to watch Dawn Bibby but fell asleep so now I'm trying to catch up with myself!
Glad your OH is feeling better Lou. Aren't you a lucky girl now Mikki - saw that weekend advertised and thought it looked good.
Off to do dinner now before picking Michael up. He is going to see if his arm is OK for driving later this week when he's off. I do hope it is!
