Stampscapes site for scenic stamping supplies and tutorials
www.stampscapes.com
If you are into scenic stamping this is a great site to spend a few hours in. I spent a whole afternoon browsing when I first came across it. And barely covered a fraction of it.
I've got quite a few of these stamps now and this site is loaded with a vast number of tutorials on how to use them. All I need to do now is to find some time to have a play - New Year's Resolution - 2009 MAKE MORE TIME to craft and read, purely for pleasure .
If you want to have a look at some of the projects I've done so far with these stamps you can see them on my photobucket page at https://s144.photobucket.com/albums/r169/KPLewis/Stampscapes/
It certainly allows one to be a bit of a landscape artist, even when you can't draw .

I love these stamps and would love to stock them. Unfortunately for some weird reason the UK distributor will not allow any retailers to put them on their websites or take them to shows??? I would only be able to stock them in the shop and almost not let anyone know I had them I still can't understand how the Stampscapes company allow this to go on? You would think that they would want business, I have phoned them up in the US and moaned but to no avail! You can tell this annoys me, I just don't see the logic.

Lovely cards Karen. I love doing the scenes with the stamps - I get the Art Impressions from Crafty Cow and also have some stampscapes ones which I think I got from the Stamp Show at Worthing. I also got a couple of Hobby Art.
Re: Stampscapes site for scenic stamping supplies and tutorials
Thank you for the comment Craftworker. I'll probably be getting some Art Impressions stamps as well once I've a little spare cash. So many things on my Wish List
How odd, Anne. It sounds as if the UK distributor wants to keep it all to themselves - but I would have thought, like you, that it would be better to have more than one supplier in a country. As it happens, I've never bought any of my stash from the UK distributor. I've either ordered them from the States (probably not such a reasonable option at the moment with the exchange rates as they are, but very good a few months ago) or on that well known auction site . In view of what you have said, I think I will continue that as my policy.

Fab cards Karen tfs
If you sold them Anne would it be possible to send an email out to us saying what ones you have and then we had to phone our order in or come in to the shop?

I did think about that There was also no mention of not being able to demonstrate them live over the internet and take phone orders.... However, I didn't want to get myself in a pile of trouble over nothing really. If they want to be that daft over it let them get on with it! They're the losers in the long run.
