Good morning Sis and all who folllow, feel absolutely shattered this morning, didn't go to bed till late and then was awake till 3 listening to the wind howling outside, if it's windy outside I am usually out for the count but not last night for some reason, maybe I'm getting excited about Christmas.......NOT
Got a little bit of Christmas shopping done yesterday in the way of presents.

Morning all. Damp and overcast here at the moment. Definitely tidying my craft room today so that I can get all the presents wrapped. No space to do it at the moment. Seem to have my sore throat back this morning , not as bad as before, and I woke up in the night having bitten my tongue in my sleep and thats really sore now too

Do you know, I was feeling just like Jan - really tired and unenthusiastic, then after I sent in my post Jen's popped up before it and it made me smile. Thanks Jen, feel a lot better now. Just goes to show, this forum really picks you up when you are down

I am here all alone in the shop today, everyone is out Christmas shopping (elsewhere!)

I'm in a cheerful mood as although I love it here, I've got two weeks after today off A bit of free time to go dog walking, maybe even do a bit of cooking..... I can't wait.

Maybe you could make some rocky road to bring into the shop on 6th

Afternoon all, I too have had a good day out, went to Craft Central at Ramsgate(as they close tomorrow, like most around the country that haven't already) and spent what I thought was £33 after discount was only left with £19 to pay so was well happy with that, then we went to Burger King and had lunch(you have got to try their Chilli Cheese Melts omg to die for), then to Papermill to stock up on white card and then PCWorld for a new keyboard, so now I shouldn't keep making typos

Oh and I had to ring the police while we were out, 3 dogs; an old Beagle, a Jack Russell and a Jack puppy that couldn't have been more than 8-10 weeks old, were running up the Eastry bypass towards Sandwich into the oncoming traffic, I rang Dover police station and they put me through to 999 and had to give details of where we were etc and when she asked about them I said 'I don't want the little puppy to get run over' and I was nearly crying Then what could possibly be the owners turned up and were trying to round them up and as we had parked in a bit of a dodgy place we decided to move on, but I have just rung the police back to see what happened and they have just said that by the time they got there, there was no sign of the dogs and the road was clear and no reports of a dog being knocked down so I just hope they got home safely

Hope they all got home safely.

Had a really lazy day - stayed inbed most of the morning and read. Did lots of cooking-buttermilk pancakes, a lemon and sultana 'Slimming' cous-cous cake,chicken curry and a big pot of vegetable soup.

Changed the beds and washed all the linen, had a little lay down and slept for an hour! Made a few cards with leftover bits and started the January birthday cards. Looking forward to SCD final soon.

Big carol concert tomorrow night and afternoon rehearsals so glad I've got all the meals prepared now. Just hardboiling some eggs to make an egg, Quark and mayonnaise topping for Ryvitas (and smoked salmon) Clive has beenwatching football all day so its my turn to hog the remote now.

Sorry I haven't been round much the last couple of days but it has been so hectic my feet have hardly touched the ground!

Got both my girls on antibiotics now with ear infections, I don't know, are they never allowed to have something without the other one wanting it too???

Hubby broke up on Wednesday and since then I hardly seem to have had time for anything let alone the internet!

Sounds like you needed the lay in to get all that done, shouldn't really have gone out today and should have stayed home and done some h*******k but a craft sale was more than I could resist. You will have to give us the cous-cous cake recipe sounds yummy, not sure about the Quark though Mike just said isn't that the Ferengi bar owner from Deep Space Nine....men, he is right though just checked
