Rub ons Empty Rub ons

Post  Pepi Wed Jul 09, 2008 5:27 pm

Please can anyone tell me where I can find greeting like Happy Birthday, best wishes, congratulations in rub ons from ?(Have I got the wrong name? My brain seems to have turned to mush in all this rain and that now feels to me like I'm using a word that is incorrect!!)
I have only been able to find them in silver or gold.
I see they are used lots in craft mags in there cards
Please can anyone help little old me?

Did you mean coloured peel-offs or those horrendous things that you have to rub off with a lollipop stick?

Those horrendous things that you have to rub off with a lllipop stick!!
I like the fonts that are used. Sometimes peeloffs just don't cut it for me if you get my meaning. And I don't always have the right stamp

I know what you mean Pepi but I still hate those rub off things he he. I sometimes print out what I want then trace on to vellum and tear to the right size - something a bit different he he

Hi Pepi

The Letraset rub ons are very good - their website is

http://www.letraset.com/craft/

and you can buy direct from them - you could also try buying some Safmat (make your own stickers) - from Word - you can print onto this using an inkjet printer and make your own stickers - it comes in a pack of 10 A4 sheets - absolutely great as you can use any font, colour, wordart etc etc

have a go

I have used Safmat, it is very good, feels like skin and disappears on the card making it look as though you have printed directly onto the card. Smile
