Monthly/Bi-monthly Stamp swap

Been toying with the idea of a stamped image swap, say a couple of A4 card or equivelent in A5 (to keep the postage costs down) with a different stamped images on them and then could do like the ATC swap and send them all to whoever is running it and then each month or every couple of months have a swap. Would mean we could all enjoy some of our new stamps and maybe some of our old favourites with everyone. Let me know what you think and will get it organised

I think this is a great idea and will gladly join in but just to let you know this is what was posted on another forum that i use

This is now a no no as a lot of stamping companies are getting wind of this and now inforcing fines for swaping and sending stamping images of their stamps and fining £1000 .
I know ebay are one of the biggest culprits letting sellers sell stamped images but this is slowly gonna stop as all stamp companies are getting wind off .
Hangler stamps have already contacted ebay found to be copying these will be fines also sarah kay more are following.

The main reason they say their business is being affected due to people sharing images and not buying the stamps themselves

We wont be selling these images or using them for profit in any way, we will be giving them to each other in good faith that the image wont be copied or sold. The people on Ebay arent sharing images they are selling them, there is a huge difference, but I will look into this before going ahead, we dont want to be breaking any laws do we

Just to add there is a possibility it could work in the manufacturers favour, if you really like an image that is sent to you then you might go out and buy the stamp, so adding to their sales!!!

That's what I have done in the past. A friend has stamped some images for me and I have liked it so much I have then gone out and brought my own stamp

Have looked at a few sites and no real mention of swapping stamps, plenty saying no selling of stamped inages but no mention of just straight swapping but if anyone sees any particular manufacturer that does specify non swapping would they just add to this thread so we know what ones not to use, thanks in advance ladies

Me too - have literallt hundreds of wooden, unmounted and clear stamps

Not made that decision yet, was putting out feelers really to see how many people might be interested but sounds like it's a go so, if you want to join in add your name to the list and pm me if you need my address, and also suggestion on how many images or sheets, I think A5 would be best, thinking of postage etc 2 sheets
Remember you will need to include a self addressed stamped A5 envelope with your stamped images with relevant postage, probably 2nd or first class large
