Don't give up, the card I posted to Jan last Wednesday (at a main post office with the correct first class postage) didn't arrive until yesterday! I was disappointed as it was an Easter card, but at least it did eventually arrive. I shall be posting very early from now on though.

As for my matting and layering Sue I use my steel edge ruler with the 1/2 cm squares drawn on it and put the ruler so I can see the 1/2 cm square to the side and bottom of my card and then butt the edge of the image up to the ruler making sure the bottom is level with the top of 1/2 cm square and lay it down and then lay the ruler down the other 2 sides of the image and cut with my knife leaving a 1/2 cm over hang, hope that was clear reading it back doesnt make much sense

Sue a friend of mine received her card today and I posted it the same time as yours so hopefully you will get it soon I went into the Post Office in Crowthorne and the lady said that a couple of bags had been left for a few days because they weren't full enough for the post man to take. I thought all post was collected everyday

That makes me so mad as postage is a rip off if your not getting the service you pay for...... sorry I am moaning but that does make me cross .Good night everyone Lexie

I sent a card to Jayne which she received a couple of weeks ago (she PMd me to say it had arrived but hasn't posted a picture so here it is) It is a Duffex pyramid

I received this cute lamb with lots of birthday cards and, as it had an Irish stamp, I think its probably from Jayne. It was completely blank inside and there is no clue on the card or envelope and the postmark is unreadable!
