Re: Job application
Ladies, the tone of the forum has gone dramatically downhill.
This is a serious matter, the young man is in need of employment. As it happens, I have been looking for someone like him for years. I should very much like him to give me a hand now and again, my husband is not getting any younger, so a strong young man like him is just what I need. I could find something for him to do in every room in the house, and possibly in the garden. Is there any chance of getting his details?
(I was going to say I could offer him a position, but thought it could be taken the wrong way, (if you'll pardon the expression).)

Re: Job application
Reminds me of the time my manager wrote my annual report in the bank and said " I've tried this young lady out in several positions but she is at her best on the counter!"
