Good morning ladies Doesn't look to nice outside this morning, looks like it's been raining too but at least the wind has died down
No bus for me this morning, Mike hasn't got to be in work until 1pm so he is taking me in Just sat here trying to wade through the enormous bowl of porridge he just made, no way am I going to finish it

It's a good week as I'm only in work till 1pm each day so I'm managing to get lots of jobs round the house done in the afternoon.
Weather is horrible today, my sister is in Scotland and says the weather is glorious she doesn't get good weather much so I won't hold it against her

Morning ladies , talk about not knowing where this week has gone I don't know where today has gone got up early and had these grand plans to sooooo much arh well always later I suppose.Got to get the house ship shape as my mum is comming over next week from south africa , don't get me wrong I love her etc but a month is just a bit to long...then my brother is comming to stay and he's a pain and then mum misses my dad etcetc please excuse me moaning........I'll talk later . Dull earlier today, and now rain, it's still windy too! We'd turned off the heating, well, turned the thermosat so low that it makes no difference, but I've just turned it up. This is the sort of cold, damp weather that gets even into my bones, and they aren't so easy to find these days. (One of the instructors at the gym asked if I'd lost weight this morning, and after doing my quarterly assessment she should know I haven't!)

Finished my cardswap, so I've got yet another opportunity to look foolish when I try to photograph it and store it on my computer. Ah, well, practise makes perfect.

I told a crafting friend, who knows me well, that I had it ready to send, and her eyes 'came out on stalks'. She goes to craft fairs and sells her cards, but she knows that I don't usually send mine to anyone. I'd told her that I was joining the swap group, and she's amused because I told her that I think it's a good thing for me, as it 'forces' me to send cards. It's getting easier, the first time I think I sweated blood doing it, and I absolutely hated seeing it on the forum , that was to Jayne, and so is the current one, which wasn't quite as stressful to do, although the other cards are so good this month!

Make the most of the day, and don't forget, it's nearly that lovely hot summer they keep telling us we have coming!

Afternoon everyone. Well it's freezing cold and pouring with rain here today. I've done the shopping, prepared tonights dinner, made some cakes ready for the kids to ice when they come home from school and now I'm sat looking at the pile of ironing wishing it would go away but I know it wont so it looks like I'll have to start it in a bit

Good afternoon ladies. Grey, damp and miserable here! I've spent the best part of the morning crawling round the floor trying to pack a computer monitor back into the original box. Then I realised I needed to take the stand off and it still wouldn't fit so had to call son in (it's his monitor that I've just sold for him on ebay) Apparently I hadn't taken the stand apart right but he couldn't get it to pieces either- anyway eventually got it in well cushioned with lots of bubble wrap. Now I should go to the PO but think I might put it off till tomorrow as I'm also still halfway through cleaning the bathroom.

Good afternoon ladies sounds like most of you have got the same awful weather as we have here
Oh I love the rain.....NOT, especially when some stupid woman drives right up close to the bus stop where there just happens to always be a puddle (why are there always puddles at bus stops??) and splashes me up to my knees with water, oh Jan was a happy bunny and if I had not been in the middle of a very quiet little village would probably have used a few expletives out loud
As for eating porridge that time of the morning Jen because of the diabetes I have to eat first thing so I can take my tablets, never used to eat brekkie at all and like you was 10 before I could stomach anything unless we went out for it, even now I have to force it down as it is porridge without any nice stuff on it like brown sugar or syrup
Been on hold to the agency I work for now for 15 minutes trying to get a payslip for last week, they have some blooming horrible hold music At last I get through and they say there was a problem last week and should get them by the end of this week, why couldn't they have sent a group email to say so, some people
Have got dinner ready, having shepherds pie today, so just have to throw that in the oven about 1/4 to 5 and will be ready for when Mike gets home

Hardly noticed the weather as I've been at work all day.

Had a great class last night with the 'rubber ladies' (stampers before you ask!) The group disbanded before Christmas but have decided to get together once a month again. Re-designed the shabby chic ones using different papers and ribbons. Will post the cards later in the gallery section.

Have just dismantled a bed and lugged it downstairs ready for collection on Friday. They are taking a small wardrobe and dressing table next week hopefully.

The craft room move looks imminant -shame....I just finished tidying it all up yesterday, re-labeling all the boxes and sorting papers, sorting stamps into catagories and bundling up magazines to pass round my crafting friends. A few older things are going in the sale on the 23rd. Also getting rid of things I no longer use -peeloffs, Art Glitter, Flowersoft and some paints. The hardest job was sortiong all my blank cards and envelopes into matching colours and sizes.

Hi Girls

Well we have had a really horrible day with the weather, great has i have gone back to work and had to get the bus home tonight, has derek had to go into work as well, seems a bit strange going back to work after all this time at home, still boring have only answered two calls all day am bored out my brain, still have nearly finished my fern britton book that i am reading, its only for another 2 days has we go on hols on saturday, but when i come back i will take some card stuff into work has i work in a office all on my own so can do what i want in there, i also take my walkman and listen to talking tapes on it, some people say thats a good job but they wouldnt say that if they had to sit there day in and day out not seeing anyone, i would rather be rushed off my feet.

Hope mikki is ok havent seen her for ages but didnt she say she was going on hols.

right am off to pack some clothes and sort stuff out.
