Free Mammograms for women in need
I was sent this link the other day.
http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=2&ThirdPartyClicks=BCS_linktous_120_01
Please click it and try to go there every day. When you click, the Breast Cancer Site displays ads from the site sponsors. 100% of the money from these advertisers goes to their charity partners , who fund programs to provide mammograms to women in need.
But they need to get sufficient clicks.

Re: Free Mammograms for women in need
I've had a similar shortcut on my desktop for a long time, I just click it every day (extra times if I can't remember if I've done it that day, although I think it only counts once a day) it's such a good thing. I'm feeling particularly grateful for the opportunity to have mammographs at the moment, as a friend was diagnosed with breast cancer only this week, entirely due to a mammogram. She hasn't any symptoms at all, and even after being recalled couldn't feel any lump, or see any signs, so wouldn't have sought treatment. She's been 'offered' a mastectomy, or lumpectomy with five weeks daily radiotherapy, both horrible options, but very much better than the alternative she may have had if it hadn't been discovered in it's early stages. Keep clicking everybody, and make sure you have your mammographs when they're available.
Not a very cheerful topic, but life can't be entirely all beer and skittles you know!
