Tuesday
Good morning all.
Bit grey outside today but hopefully it will perk up, if not a jumper I brought at the weekend will be going on
Hopefully it will be a better day at work today, yesterday was really stressful yesterday and ready to walk out, until I remembered I had bills to pay and craft goodies on my wish list I needed
Hope all the poorlies are doing ok.
Take care and have a good day

Re: Tuesday
Good morning Di, and all who follow. Beautiful morning again here - the sun is really lighting up the tree tops at the back of us it looks stunning. Our heating came on this morning so must have been cold I dont mind that, just the rain and wind I dont like and we have neither today. Not sure what we are doing today, Martin is still in bed. There was only 4 of us at badminton last night so I was shattered by the time I got home as couldnt have a sit out. Everyone is ill Heard from my schoolfriend last night who I am going to the reunion with on Saturday, that her husband is in hospital with pneumonia so hope he gets better soon, and she's not sure if he will still be there on Saturday or if he will be home. I'm sure she won't want to leave him if he's at home.
Hope your day is less stressful today Di, and everyone else have a good day. Juli hope all your kitchen and washing machine is soon sorted so you can get straight again

Re: Tuesday
Morning ladies....
Hope everyone is well.
We have lovely blue sky here at the moment. And although its a bit cool, its nice to see the sun again.
Took the children up to school, called in at my mums, got home and Keith was watching Jeremy Kyle... fatal for me to sit down and watch that programme... nothing gets done in that hour!
Not sure if I am coming down with a cold... feel a bit snuffly and headachey - so will have to keep clear of Keith for the next few days, dont want him catching a cold when he is due to go into hospital next week.
Have a lovely day, take care xx

Re: Tuesday
Hi all,
Been out in the sunshine with hubby.... Georgia has a visit to a farm coming up at school and its like a Victorian times theme for the visit... so have trawled the charity shops this morning to cobble together an outfit for her! Unbelievable, found absolutely everything I needed including a black lace shawl and even a basket to put her sarnies in! The only thing we couldn't find were lace up black boots with a lowish heel in a size 6..... couldn't even find any in the shoe shops LOL .She'll just have to make do with her school shoes and we'll have to hope its a dry day! Maybe I'll have a look on Ebay although we only have a week to go till the visit! The school didn't get many parent offering to pay enough towards the cost £18 each child!) to make the visit work so the school has had to ask again for donations and has only just told us the visit is OK to go ahead now!
Then when we got back I threaded the dogs lead thru the arm of my Granny Basher and we took him for a quick jaunt round the neighbourhood... he needs to lose some weight and I always feel guilty that I cannot walk him far so I wanted to see if he was safe to run along side me and he absolutely loved it, so now I will be able to exercise him twice a day depending on the weather! He is fast asleep now, he obviously can't keep up with my pace LOL
Hope the day is not too stressful Di x
Karen... my hubby watches Jeremy Kyle...... so do I sometimes if I am REALLY BORED!!!!
Andrea... have a nice weekly chill hun x
Lexie.... hope the puss cat has stopped giving you grumpy looks!!!
Jacky..... loved what he said about that card hun, how nice x

Re: Tuesday
Glad to see you are able to make the most of the weather Lou I had a pair of boots but just checked and must have thrown them out they would have been fine for a farm visit too and the right size
Re: Tuesday
Flippin Cat spoilt rotton , in my next life comming back as a cat ... a real snooty one ...and I shall really play up so I get spoilt .... brill way of exercising the doggie and you can ' take in ' the air to , only one thing how you going to poop scoop ????? Re: Tuesday
Afternoon ladies. Roy progressing nicely- he can eat pureed soups and custard, yogurts and very soggy cereal now. Strangely when he can't eat normally he spends all his time watching cookery programmes! Went shopping this morning as he's going to start making his Christmas cakes -last year he made about 20!!!!! for various friends and colleagues. I'm off to make another batch of vegetable soup for him for tomorrow. I had to stay with him Sunday night as it was his first night home and was still slightly feeling the effects of the anaesthetic. But I had to sleep on the settee as he was worried about his wounds (5 of them- bullet holes he calls them). I can't remember ever having to sleep on the settee before when there was a perfectly comfortable bed. He has got a spare one which folds away into a cupboard but he had so much stuff in front of it, it would have been a nightmare trying to get to it. Must get him to tidy his spare room
Re: Tuesday
Never mind jacky, have now got her a pair off Ebay (thanks for looking anyhow xx).....
as long as they are black boots with low heel they are fine for her to wear to school thru the winter, so at least I have bought them now... just gotta hope they come in time as I will be well annoyed!!! Postal strike better not affect it!
Lexie.... I am hoping that if I keep the accelerator pressed in and don't give Rolo a chance to stop he will not poop!!! He usually poops first thing in the morning....... so hopefully we
won't have to deal with that. I am bending better now though so if he does I can still deal with it x
Sue... glad Roy is progressing well hun x
