Re: NOVEMBER THEME - Farm
My senior moment last night was to think I'd lost my locker key when out running with the club. In a blind panic i almost broke the minute mile record. Got back to the club. The poor lad behind the bar found what he thought was the master key for the lockers. HAd to make sure the rest of the ladyeez were decent, then when I got there I realised i had left the key inthe locker door.
I knew I'd put it in the pocket of my running trousers but what i had forgotten was I'd taken it outagain to get my Inhaler as it was a fast session and I was worried incase i had an attack.
Then it got worse as after my shower the later group arrived back and my friend Aly said I hadn't even locked the door again. It was open. My purse and camera were in my bag as Charlie Spedding was at the club signing copies of his book. So she locked itand left the key thinking someone had maybe just gone to the bar.
I am not blushing now honest! But I got to see and hold an olympic bronze medal and meet the man whose surname I shared for 36 years. It was the bain of my life at school as I was not in the least bit athletic then.
Its the dementia you know.......

Re: NOVEMBER THEME - Farm
Thank goodness it was an honest person who found your locker open Lesley you were so lucky I have never been able to run and Sally is the same. She does all sorts of activities but not good at running. She did try last year and ran a half marathon and has never run since She trained every day for it and built it up but never really enjoyed it.
Re: NOVEMBER THEME - Farm
