Sorry Andrea - I saw Christine's message and thought they had just been sent out - yes, I did get it over 2 weeks ago and the first card has been sent!

Oh dear, does this mean that my sincere appreciation of early notice was taken the wrong way? Sorry, I really meant it, Andrea is obviously well-organized, and it was great.

I've only just read this, (just made it to the forum, I've been very lax recently, I seem to have slowed down so much I can't keep pace with everything!) and thanks Jane. I didn't think you were criticizing but thought I should confirm I really meant it! Anyway, it could turn out to be a very helpful thing for me, because it looks as though there is some way I can tell which posts I haven't read! I hope that's what 'I saw the red (unread) tag ' means. I can't remember seeing any such tags, and just miss posts if I don't check regularly, so if it does mean that, could someone please tell me where to look for it? Thank you.

By the side of each section on the home page there is a circle with what looks like writing but is just little dashes. You also find them besides each topic in the section. If the dashes are red (more difficult to see on this red background) then there is something in that section you haven't read - this only works once because when you log out it goes. So unless you check all of the sections for the red circles you could still miss things as I have as they go back to being black the next time you log in. It just indicates what has been put on since the last time you were logged in Hope that makes sense to you, I have a habit of going round in circles when I explain anything.

Thank you, I see how it works! It's a pity it goes back to black before it's been read though, wouldn't it be handy if it stayed red until you'd got to it!

Yes I agree there Christine, I have often found something and wondered how I had missed it and I think it's when I have come on here quickly to look at something and not checked everything. Notice there is under Hi and Welcome on the Home page a clickable "view posts since last visit" which I have never noticed before Amazing what you find when you are looking for someone else
