Morning...

Up early this morning, got the children coming at 7.00 - I didnt realise it was a Bank Holiday when I agreed to it. Hoping they will bring some of their christmas pressies to play with as I have put my stuff away and dont really want to be getting it all out.
Got to be up early again tomorrow, we are off to London - taking Amy to the Miley Cyrus concert at the O2 Arena (20,000 seating capacity - which means 19,999 screaming (probably a bit less, allowing for parents!!) girls) It was bad enough at the Jonas Bros concert. We are staying overnight and coming back on the Wednesday. Quite looking forward to it.... going to have a look in Harrods see if I can grab a bargain!!!
Mum is going to her friends for a couple of days - at least I know she will be ok.

Good morning Karen and all who follow, enjoy your break Karen and dont scream too much nothing planned for today exceot tidy up. Hubby is back at work he breaks up again 30 and has four days then back for the new year which is great. Big hugs to the poorlies .

Not a brilliant day today, woke up to find one of my cat's had died. Got her from the cat's home 4 years ago and she was 12 yrs old so it wasn't a total surprise but still upsetting. I've got all of my cats from the rescue home and am a bit of a sucker for old cats as no-one else wants to give them a home because of their age. She was quite a character she stayed upstairs and no matter how many times I'd carry her downstairs she'd run back up, none of the other cats were allowed upstairs she would chase them half way down the stairs.
She would always sit at the top of the stairs and everytime Jim (Jakes Dad) went to the bathroom she would either hiss or try to attack his feet

Hope everyone else is enjoying the time with their families and the Christmas holidays, can't believe how quickly its flying past.

Couldn't log in on here this morning, was using Martin's computer as I was in a hurry as we were going to Cheltenham. Read the posts and the went to another site to look something up and realised Martin had the Caps Lock on so that was why my password wouldn't work Didnt have time to come back on. Had a lovely day with Mum today - Sally & Greg came along too - and we took Mum to the pub for lunch, then they all went for a walk so it was just chilling time for Mum and me
Hope you have a good time at Mikes parents Jan, and Karen have a lovely time at O2. So sorry to hear about your cat Di it is very sad when they go.

Nice quiet day making wire flower cards and updating my blog.
Didn't put the TV on till 7.30pm!

Off to bed with a nice hot chocolate and a dash of Ballycastle.

Hope all the journeys went OK, sorry to hear about the cat, hope the poorlies are a bit better today. How's Keith's tooth now?
