Love the fancy shape Andrea
Really like that card Very Happy

Oh Jacky, you really made me laugh with your answer Laughing
It is not many people that can give that one as an answer! lol!

I remember one time, back home, we were having a BBQ and my son, who was in his final year at uni at the time, brought a lot of his uni friends
There was one particular shy young man whom I hadn't met and he seemed to be getting left out of the conversation a lot so trying to be the hostess with the mostest I struck up a conversation with him
He was really nice and polite and I later gave my son a right telling off for not making sure the 'wee laddie' was being included
My son asked for a description of the 'wee laddie' and burst into fits of laughter. It turned out that the 'wee laddie' had a doctorate in Nuclear Physics What a Face
Not to be outdone I quickly recovered my speech and replied that I didn't care if he was prime minister he should still have made sure the 'wee laddie' was included in things. I think that was the moment I realised I was starting to get old Shocked Embarassed Embarassed

Martin used to go gliding and I watched for about 6 months with everyone saying I should have a go. Eventually in a mad moment I went up and quite enjoyed it Very Happy I had lesson until the point when the instructor said I am about ready to go solo What a Face No way. I was still unsure of what I was doing on take-off - couldn't understand the talk about angles etc. and the instructor alway told me to pull back more or not so much. Martin went solo though and I headed for the swimming pool as I knew he wouldn't give it up then, but if I hadn't gone along with him every week at the beginning he would have felt guilty about leaving me every weekend and would have stopped going Very Happy I prefer gliders to airplanes as there is no engine to go wrong Very Happy

Thats confirmed then your raving bonkers , give me a lovely big 747 jumbo set with lots of engines any day of the week !! I once worked wih a girl who had , many years ago been on a jumbo which lost all 3 engines , over Jackata then after she'd written a leter to her mum saying she has;nt paid her cats bill at the vets ( ????) the engines one by one came back to life , apparently it was dust from a volcanoe that had caused it !x

She sure has!
I love coming onto the Forum and seeing that smile Smile
I know what you mean about the height issue
At 5' 3", and shrinking, I was never the most confident of people
Probably why I am not into competitions
Although I do think it was more down to the fact that I was brought up with by very strict parents who strongly believed that children should be seen and not heard
But I sometimes think that a lot of children, not all, today are far too confident and outspoken for their own good
