Farnborough Make-It show 26th-28th Feb

Is anyone planning to come to the Farnborough Make-it show in February. I will be there

Well you can all blame my daughter for me not being there!
I will be up in Scotland that weekend on the hunt for bridesmaids' dresses
I really don't think she will accept the excuse of a craft fair as a reason for delaying it somehow
I was actually quite upset when I realised because this may very well be the last time I will be able to go to it!
All going well, we shall be safely residing up in Scotland this time next year

Oh yes I am going to my mum's in South Africa !!!!! And I might be missing out on Farnborugh but my friend with the craft shop in Durban has organised a craft weekend for us up in the hills , can't wait .....AND LOTS OF GOODIES TO BUY!!!!!! so ALAS i WON'T BE saving any money ....hooray She sent me a long email earlier telling me all about it . Iam taking a class on the sat afternoon and one on sunday morning !!! so that pays for my bit on non teaching and going to a class .... I'll be a international tutor yet !!!!!!

Think I'll be back in time - when is it?

Like Lexie - I'm taking a short informal classand hosting an ATC swop just before we leave for Singapore, so I can call myself 'an international tutor' too

Glad your doing a class Jane , I love swapping with people abroad , differant ideas and things .Not sure when it is , but Iam pretty sure Iam away so must be after 14th of feb ???? but Jacky will know .Even if Iam here I won't go otherwise I 'll blow all my spending money , I know what I am like and that is out of control and have no self control where crafy stuff and money go and put them together disaster ! xx

We're also going the Friday (Mum's coming along as she's into beads and watercolour stamping). This is the first I've been to, so I'm quite excited (can't say my credit card is, though). Hope to meet some of you guys!

On the Saturday Anne has a demo day planned with 'someone' from Creative Expressions, although when I asked she couldn't remember their name! Did try quzzing Celie and Rosemary on Saturday, but Anne appears to have kept them in the dark! Any of you guys heard who's lined up?

Can't help you there Iam afraid but they usually have some good demonstrators .....

Sorry, she has kept us all in the dark then. I didn't know she was even having a demo day, although I should have guessed as she did last year

I'll take the thumb screws with me on Saturday and see what I can find out!!!!
