Drown myself this week in the hydro pool, that is, if I remember to go LOL

Went to bed early last night, then had no less than 3 telephone calls 2 lasting half hour each and one lasting an hour so am shattered this morning as my early night went by the wayside.

Massive hugs for Jan this morning..... hope there is some improvement with Jayne xxx

I heard from Juli, Cosmic Fairy, last night, she hasn't been on coz she has had company and has been soooo busy!

As Lou has said bless her had my neice Jade and great neice summer ( who is nearly 9 months) staying with us for 5 days so not been on or done much crafting. But was lovely having them stay from biringham (were i am from) Jade is having a bit of a tough time at the min so wanted her to come and stay to get a break and TLC. Was so upset when they left yesterday but will be back again soon, they didnt want to go either but had a birthday to get back for. well best get on got work then got lots of cards to do love and hugs to all.xxx

Annoyed annoyed annoyed.........

You know my likkle scooter, the one I bought to
take on holiday to Wales, well it has only been used
3 times, once by me and twice by shell when she
visited in the New Year and when Ady got it out
to give it a charge and check it was ok on Sunday
(first time since Shell used it) it seems it has all
seized up

Tried downloading a user guide for it, but cannot find
one.... so have looked on other similar models and
cannot see what is wrong. It has this release leaver
so that you are able to push it along quite easily
but now it seems very difficult to push and when you
press the go forward level it wont and then keeps
beeping at you.....

So I phoned my local mobility centre and asked them if
they do servicing and if they had any idea what was wrong...
they do servicing for £45 but she says it sounds like a
problem with the axle and if it is knackered then it's not
worth repairing

She reckons the damage may have occured because Shell
was out longer than I was and rode it in the rain, and the
smaller ones don't like the rain at all she said.... all sorts of
nasty fings happen to them......

Oh I wanna scream.... so that could be £200 down the drain and
I only got to ride the blimmin thing once... am sooo annoyed....
also looked onto the other user manual and it says one of
the hills I know Shell did on it was too steep for it to handle
so am wondering if this was part of the cause too.....

Then add to that the fact I have no lightweight scooter to take
on holiday now so I have to either put up and shut up in the
wheelchair or try and get another one, or put this one in for
service and hope they are wrong about it being the axle

I am moaning again aren't I?

Well it's official - I'm allergic to the cold! Just got back from doctors and what I thought was eczema starting up isn't it's cold weather urticaria! In other words an allergic reaction to cold weather!!!

Jane just make sure you bring that sun back with you 'cos I need it!

Oh dear to both Sue and Lou , thats a pain in the bum for you Lou , can you not hire one or I know are freebie paper some times has them for sale what me to keep an eye out ( when I get back ) and I can always bring it down to you , let me know .
Now Sue , don't know what we are going to do with you , but I ALSO HATE THE COLD and it makes my back ache and coff worse ! Think we just need to all pray for some sun shine ! Roll on monday morning when I arrive in Cape Town.Is it me or has this winter gone on for ever !

Getting ready for both Micks and Dulcies birthday tomorrow , got Dulcie Tickets for Grease and dressing gown , slippers . smellies , pj 's usual bits and bobs. Micky , well he has a lot of trouble with the clingfilm so I got from Lake land a fancy dispenser , and a brill new Veggie peeler !!!!!! ( he loves practical gifts !!!} and aftershave and choccies .... what do you buy the man who has all he wants !!!
Then thursday cases out of loft and getting ready to go !!! roll on sunday , just hope snow does not disrupt us had a little bit yesturday , but just very cold today .....I can just about put up with that !

Sue, you will have to move to Oz with Jane. Doesn't look like it's warming up soon either My cold had disappeared as fast as it came, no coughing or drippy noses and the funny thing was I didnt lose my sense of smell or taste. Now wondering if it was an allergy

I did my wee one in going over grass, burned the motor out
I truly wish we lived closer to you because I have a wee one out there that I do not use and have been looking for someone to give it to
It is the back axle of my old one and front bit off another one. So it is a different colour back and front. But at least it goes. Mind it is a long time since it has been used. It goes like the wind but I am too heavy for it
What make is it? I have the handbook for that wee one and would be more than happy to send you a copy, email or otherwise.
I totally understand what you mean about using the manual wheelchair. I HATE mine. It just takes away your independence completely. So you moan away girl.

hi there girls well the weather here cant make its mind up today it keeps going dark, has if it is going to snow then the sun comes out Jacky you are so lucky that your cold has gone i ended up at the docs yesterday and i have a throat infection, so have stayed in bed toady has i have 2 meetings in brum tomorrow one about my redundancie and one is a tribunal for my industrial injuries benefit that they stopped last june.

Jan hope there is some improvement in jayne today and have some hugs for everyone.

Lou hope you remembered to go to the hydro pool today i am sitting in bed watching dawn bibby on qvc what more could i want. ha ha.
but i have been good i havent bought anything.
