Hi My Lovelies ,
Got home a couple of hours ago ... so now Iam goingto tell you all about it ...
We left here at 5am on thursday morning and got to Pilgrims Rest mid afternoon , we stayed overnight in a Victorian Cottage which was part of thr Royal Hotel, it was beautiful, bath with claw foot an d a huge tub , brass an..d lovely setting . Then early next morning we had a yummy breakfast , and went to Hazyview to stock up with food for in the park.
I was devistated to find my camera was'nt working , change batteries and all the usual but its dead as a dodo ... I was soo upset but used mums , which is nice but no where as good as mine .... not wishing to sound ungrateful !!
We got into the park about 11am and had lunch in one of the camps , we saw loads of elephants , Impala , moongoose . tortoises , Rhino and Buffaloe a huge herd and loads more elephants ...
Saturday we were up at 5am to do our early morning drive we were looking for cats but did'nt find any but saw loads of other stuff including a common diaker , a steenbuck , waterbuck , a reedbuck , Kudu more elephants , Zebra , geraffe , wilderbeast , loads of lovely birds , but no big pussycats .... so we went out later after a lovely swim in the natural pool and a rest . We saw lots more game and that night, ate in the camp restaurant the previous night we had a braai which is a BBQ . Up early again on sunday and loads of game but again no big cats !!!
Our last day was monday and we only had a limited time as we had a 6 hour drive to James , but we left the camp only to come face to face with a huge pride of lions one huge male , a couple of young males and a few females we were so pleased , we thought we had'nt seen the big 5 ( Buffaloe , Rhino , Elephants , lion and the elusive Lepoard ) but we were happy then .... there he was a beautiful Lepoard up a tree ! we had the big 5 and we were all happy .... then we saw more lion and left the park very Happy !
It was great to spend time with my brother and his family then we left Jo 'berg and had the 6hour drive back to Durban .
Just had a quick look at the photos there okish but no where as good as if they'd come from my camera ... sorry to sound ungrateful but iam still upset about my camera !
You will get to see some photos but not till I get home !
Not Mothers day here until 9th May , but my kids did'nt contact me anyway , little sods..... can't wait to here all the excuses !!!!Anyway girls got to go for now as Iam exhausted ! Take care everyone love and hugs to all that need/want one lexie xxx

Glad you have had a good time at Kruger Lexie - and you managed to see the big 5 too cheers cheers cheers Isn't it just typical that your camera isn't working when you have something worth taking Sad but the memories will last.
