Photobucket

Several of my recent computer problems seem to be Media related (including photos) My Photobucket has several 'glitches' so may stop using it for a while and try posting photos differently. My blog works OK and I'll post new cards on there for you to see - the link is under my signature.

I stopped using Photobucket a while back hun, about 3 months ago they had massive problems with a virus on there and several of my friends computers were wiped out..... they emailed Photobucket and they seemed loathe to do anything about it although they were aware that some of the files on the site were corrupted.....

I did mention it on here at the time and said to be careful xxx

I've never been able to post with Photobucket so how else can I post please help !!!! I'd be so grateful if anyone could help me , make life soooo much easier .

Neither have I, but a site I was on the other day came up with loads of warnings of viruses and trojans which looked very authentic but it wasn't. I closed the page down and had no problems but if I had clicked on the button to supposedly scan and clean I would have caught the viruses!

Yes Sue, my neighbour had terrible trouble with viruses when he clicked on something which he thought was getting rid of a virus when in fact that was the virus and his computer was in a real mess. Martin had to go and try and sort it out but he didnt have the original discs to load onto it as it used to be his daughters work laptop. He ended up buying another computer.

One to watch out for at the moment is called Security Tool, it infects and then tries to get you to go to a website to download the removal tool for for $89.99, it can be removed Mike had to get it off our laptop but it was a bit of a 'girl doggy' to get rid of it.
Mike uses FlickR now for all his photos and so far no problems with it *fingers crossed*

My friend had her hotmail account hacked , and she said don't open anything from her ....tooo late , But Iam so silly , I did't bother seeing what it was about and deleted it thinking she was having a senior moment , someone else investigated further and her computer caught he virus .... so it was a good job I was a bi daft !.....

I'm back! - thanks for the warnings - I'm not using Photobucket at the moment in case its the culprit but haven't set up an alternative yet.
