Saturday
Good morning... a hot one again by the looks of it.
Another load of washing done, one to go out and get another in - I also left a full washing basket so yet to start on that. No rush there, its only bedding.
So .. no prizes for guessing what I shall be doing this afternoon - unless of course Martin is free Jacky!!!
Amy is still in bed... I remember her coming in in the night telling me she couldnt sleep - I dont think I answered her!
Right... better go and start on my day. Enjoy yours!! xxx

Re: Saturday
I have tried all morning to get on here but have only just managed it - don't know why Good morning Karen and all who follow, if they can get on Sorry Karen, I have got Martin out in the garden cutting back the back hedge as it is twice the size that we originally had it. The trouble is Martin bought a new hedge trimmer which is too heavy for me to handle so he has been doing it for a few years now and he doesn't really cut it, just cuts off the new growth so it has got wider and much taller. I have got him really hacking into it today - that was supposed to be done in May when I suggested it He is moaning that you can see right through it now but it is only because the light hasn't got to the middle for so long so there is nothing there. My Dad was a gardener (had 5 allotments) so I used to get advice from him on things but Martin never really had a garden but he won't listen to me so I have to find it in books or on the web before he will believe what I am saying It certainly is looking a lot better now. I am about to pot up my geraniums at last
Re: Saturday
Good morning Ladies
Was supposed to be having some classes with Kay Carley at the Glitterpot today, but they cancelled them
so that she could demo in their new shop that opened on Weds, (that didn't impress me much) mind you they only put it on their website late yesterday so i don't think she will bring them any more custom then normal.
So I am having a day at home instead, sorry ladies but I have been doing a bit of H****k this morning, but
I will then move on to making some cards later as I have a few on my list to do. Of course I have had C & C on in the
background while doing work.
Hope Lou is progressing well and hugs to all others that need them.
catch up with you all later.

Re: Saturday
I got my geraniums planted Lou is at home for the weekend - she text me on Friday to say she had been let out for the weekend That's very naughty to cancel a class at such short notice, perhaps there wasn't many attending so thought she would be of better use elsewhere - but not if they have only just put it on the website I went to a demo at the local shop in Frimley, a Docraft one. She was quite good - and they have some lovely children stamps which I couldn't resist Nostalgia

Afternoon ladies sorry not been around have been trying to cheer myself up but not working, I am so full of doom and gloom lately and then to cap it all off on Thursday was told that my job finishes at the end of the month, just feel like packing up and buggaring off somewhere I have had a gut full of it, seems to be endless.
Good to hear about Lou though

Re: Saturday
Sorry you're having a rough time Jan. Shame about the job. No wonder you are p****d off. Hope things improve for you soon.
We went to Godalming today and walked along the towpath to the wharf. Stopped for a picnic lunch followed by an icecream. Back to our shady garden just after 3.00 and chilled out with a LLB and a good book. LLB? I hear you ask - its an Aussie favourite soft(ish) drink - lemonade, limejiuce and bitters (Angostura) plus lots of ice..... very refreshing.
Just waiting for Casualty to come on then its an early night for me.
