Fab 50 ..... What a day ....

Hello Girls thank you for all your beautiful cards and kind wishes !
Well , where do I start with my lovely birthday ? When I opened my eyes Dulcie was there with all my cards and Balloons , Mick produced a bottle of Vintage Moet Champagne , but we decided to wait a little while ! The phone never stopped ringing and had a constant lots of friends popping in with cards and gifts. Knew I HAD to be ready by 6 , I honestly thought it was a trip to London on the train and supper out.... how wrong was I ? micky suggested I wore a pink outfit which had previously been at mums , and my pink silk shoes .Sheila arrived first , then Carol and John , we had some more Champagne and decided to leave .... well I HAD THE SHOCK OT MY LIFE outside our house was a huge Bright Pink Stretched Limo , well I went into hysterics it was soo funny as I am always the one saying those limos are so OTTand Tacky and I WAS NOT WRONG ! we had such a laugh , all my neighbours were out Cheering and sang me Happy Birthday ! I still had no idea where we were going , and after a 40 min drive alover the South East we arrived at a lovely pub , 20 of my friends were here to greet me , with ballons , cards and gifts , we had a great meal , wih a fab choice on the menu of all the usual plus a wide selection of South african food.My very clever friend Lesley made a HUGE Choccy and edible spakle cake along with the 5 fireworks , and eventually got home at 11,45 and Shiela , caril and John left about 00.45 Had a brill day/evening Iwas soo shocked to see all our friends and the car wow !had such a laugh !
Carol organised it ,MIcky just said what he thought I 'D like !

Oh Lexie that is absolutely brilliant, I have tears in my eyes - what a lovely man Mickey is and all your friends getting together. Just shows you how well you are thought of Glad they didn't have to get that limo on your drive

Jacky , Iam soooo lucky the friends I have , had a ball truly fab !!! I love being 50 !!!!

Micky is wonderful , but he did'nt organise it my 2 mates Carol and Sheila organised it he just did the easy things like choosing the pub by looking at menu had carol and sheila running around ! flowers to hem 2 tomorrow ! Back to planet earth tomorrow as Iam working in the shop !Got more photos on facebook ! Today we've carried on partying been great , had far too much choccy cake but have frozen a load for when mum comes over !
