Morning...

flying visit from me! Just been to take Mum up to the Drs. for a blood test, then later on she has a hospital appointment. So in between flying about I am now having 5 minutes on the puter.
Keith is also off to hospital later, I reckon I ought to get my own personal hospital wing on the side of my house!!!
Have a lovely day

Good morning all, having a lazy morning today - got my friend from Oz coming at lunchtime - so we are off to the pub for lunch Very Happy Had a lovely time yesterday at Mum's catching up and reminiscing with Mum's cousin who is also over from Oz. I think the last time we saw him was when I was pregnant with Ian (who is now 32) when we stopped off at Perth on our way to the UK for a holiday when we lived out in Woomera Very Happy

Take care on that roof Janet Laughing Hope you manage to get some shoes for the children Frances, and Karen what a great idea for an extension Laughing

Just got back from a trip to Reading to buy Mark's birthday present. He'd asked for a nice pen so got him a Sheaffer set from John Lewis. Then did a bit of clothes shopping ready for hols and also picked up Tony Blair's book - half price in waterstones and I had a £10 voucher to use so it only cost me £2.50!!

I have had a fantastic day today - our friends arrived about 1.00 and we sat nattering until 2.00, then we went to a pub by the canal and had lunch. Got carried away and was nattering until 5.30 before we left the pub, and we only had 2 drinks each Laughing Laughing I was driving so no alcohol for me. We then took them to Farnborough Gate as they are looking for a small notebook computer to take around with them and wanted to go to Comet or Currys. They had nothing there so then went to PC World in Farnborough. They didnt have what they wanted either so back home we came. They were meeting some more friends in Tilford at 7.30 but probably didn't get there on time as we still stood talking for ages by the car when they went out to go Laughing Really enjoyed ourselves.

You will have to let us know what you think of Tony Blair's book Sue.

You really should get that knee looked at Lexie. Glad you had a good day Jacky. Book seems very readable - not too dry!
