October challenge - something fishy updated picture added

Hi ladies sorry ive not done a card yet for this months challenge but thought of something fishy , anything with fishes on in the sea, aquarium or on there own . Have fun i will put a card up later.

Lovely card Ellen , bit of a tough one for me this is ..... don't think I've gpot anything remotly fishy !

This is quite an easy one for me as my niece's partner is a fisherman and I am always buying things fishy for his birthday cards as he is the one person that I know really appreciates my cards and keeps them all I may even join in this one and make a very early birthday card for him for next year

I've wasted hours of my life this arvy ..... looking through allmy stamps, nothing fishy , all mt stash , nothing fishy ,,,, what am I going tp do...... got a bit of an idea have to see if it works out ????!!!!! xx

I've got some shell stamps and a seahorse brass stencil but no fishes of any kind!

OK then, here it is



Seahorse is done with white stencil paste, shells stamped and shrunk, matted and layered on seaside cardstock

I've stamped mine out but the phone rang and distracted me after a long chat to my mum , so I'll either finish later or tomorrow .Iam waiting for the diamond glaze to dry on Lou's so I'll post that over the weekend , got a busy day tomorrow and got SCD and XFactor to watch and have supper and drinks with friends ! You know who your true friends are during SCD as they sit and watch it nicely !! ( Karen I don't need a farm to be sad !!!)

Similar thing Diamond Glaze , it looked a bit ''Flat '' so I knew that would bring it alive !

Good challenge Andrea and some lovely cards ladies. Got my thinking cap on!

Had time to do one this month but I am sending it to my great nephew who goes fishing with his dad Joanna Sheen cd, and the fish scale background and fishes were printed onto Conqueror Iridescent Silica Blue paper which is suitable for Laser or inkjet printers. The sheen on it is brilliant for the fishes - a bit like cosmic shimmer where it changes colour. I think butterflies printed on it will be lovely too. This is the first time I have used it
