Hello Crafty Cows

I have just joined you this morning and would like to say hello to everyone. I have been a customer of The Crafty Cow for sometime and a Moovision fan since the beginning and enjoy it very much. Some great tips and good laughs. Did miss it last Friday and hope the reason was only techie and no-one ill or anything.

My daughter and granddaughter got me into card making about 4 years ago. I have always done crafty things since childhood; knitting, sewing (loads of it) crotcheting etc. When DD cleared the dining table and put a number of stamp pads, stamps and card stock in front of me I had no idea what it was all about. Little did I know it was the beginning of an obsession!

Looking forward to making friends here, sharing some hints, tips and being guided in the right direction.

It is definitely an addiction, not sure if any of you watched Trinny and Suzanna last night when they scientifically monitored the thrill aspect of shopping for clothes. I think if they connected the same devices to a card maker and let them loose in a craft shop it would go off the register he he Does your heart rate increase when you see gorgeous card? does your blood pressure rise when you see a superb template? hmm you should have seen that program he he, they tried to say that NEED was different to WANT when it comes to buying ... not when it comes to card making items he he

Thanks very much for your welcomes ladies (Do you have any male forum members?) Still finding my way around, not even sure if this is the way to reply but hey ho!! No didn't see Trinny and Suzannah last night but know exactly what you mean. All reason goes out of the window when you spot something new, pearly, twinkly, sheeny etc. Have so far managed to stay on the right side of by Bank Manager though!!

Welcome to the Craftiest forum. I would have welcomed you yesterday, but had a lot on. Special birthday lunch with family for my daughter. Came back and was so hot and sticky due to the humidity I fell asleep on the settee. (Nooooooo it wasn't the red wine with lunch ) When I finally did try to log onto the forum my pooter wouldn't connect to the internet for some reason.
Seems ok now though
