Morning ladies. It's pouring with rain here this morning and it's very cold so I hope it doesn't turn to snow later.

I've got to wait in today for the hotpoint engineer to come and look at my washing machine as it keeps tearing clothes (this will be the 3rd time in as many weeks) I hope he can fix it.

Good morning Frances and all who follow The sun is actually shining here today but I had some really awful news yesterday afternoon. My BIL step brother has jumped from the Menai Bridge It is just beyond belief, just don't know what possessed him to do such a thing. I have known him since he was about 8, he is married and had a lovely daughter who has a new baby. Such a terrible thing to do. I havent seen him for years, he was always there at our family Christmas get togethers when the children were small so dont really know what was going on in his life, so tragic.

Lexie sends her love, she has a very bad chest infection so taking things easy. The Dr says if it wasnt for the fact there is so much flu around he would have put her in hospital.

Enjoy your day today - I am going to attempt to do a little bit of crafting today - maybe play with my Zutter which I have actually looked at now Hope you dont have to wait in too long for the Hotpoint man to come Frances.

Where is everyone today - hope the above didn't stop anyone posting on here. I think I was just angry on my BIL behalf.

I am here Jacky,,, things not too good at this end. Mum has had a bad couple of days.
This morning I went down to 3 carrier bags full of everything and nothing, which I had to put away. Mum said when I got there that she was so pleased to see me, as she hadnt seen me for 2 days - as you know I go down 3 or 4 times a day. She was very confused, and its been hard. I am so lucky to have Keith and Amy who really are brilliant.
Will get on when I can.

Oh Jacky so sorry to hear your news must have been a shock for you, what a terrible thing to happen and just when he had a new grandchild to love and play with thoughts go out to you and all his family.

and karen sorry to hear about your mom your not having a good time at the mo either are you, such a shame hugs to you all.

well we made it to wigan its cold but nice up here, seems so long since we came up, we are in the travel lodge, and its quite at the mo, but anything could happen, if we get a bad nights sleep we get our money back, many a time we have had stag an hen dos and couldnt get to sleep for them, so we have had a free night
