Why do Things always come in threes???

As the saying goes things always come in threes. Well over the last week I have been to the hospital 3 times. Firstly Michaela fell down the last few stairs at home and hurt her ankle It swelled up and I thought she'd broken it but luckily it was just bruised and after some ice she was able to walk on it. Secondly on Tuesday of this week Michaela was doing P.E and a girl threw a ball at her and it bent her fingers back and the school advised she go to the hospital as they were sure they were broken. Again luckily they weren't but she has them strapped up for now. Thirdly that evening Kayleigh was trying to take the batteries out of Joshs camera and she couldn't get the cover off, she then tried mine and managed to open it. For some unknown reason she put her fingers into her mouth and let out a scream and came running into tthe lounge saying her tongue was hurting. I told her to rinse her mouth out but it kept on stinging so I took her to the hospital. they just laughed at me for being an overprotective mother and said that batteries don't harm you but the tip of her tongue is a little red so just give her some paracetamol and she'll be fine. We went home, I gave her some medicine and she went to bed. Well Wednesday night when she came home from school she still needed to use the camera so she got Joshs and gave it to me to try and get the batteries out and lo and behold his batteries had leaked and the acid was leaking all down the side of the camera so she had touched that the night before and it was acid that had burnt her tongue. I wish I'd seen this the night before as I would have taken it with us to prove I'm not over protective.


Then to top it all off yesterday on the way to school a girl in Kayleighs year was knocked over by a car. On the way home a boy in year 9 was knocked off his bike in roughly the same place and about an hour later a third kid from the same school was knocked over near the college on the edge of town

Good morning Frances...OMG what a nightmare you are having. Least your troubles have been smaller compared to the poor kids getting hit left right and centre with the cars!! Big hugs for Michaela and Kayleigh, spect ur gonna be bolting the front door and wrappin the 3 of them in bubble wrap!! Kids eh?

Oh Frances, you poor thing (well poor children too) - I think I would move from there with all these children getting knocked down, hope no-one was seriously injured.

The girl that got knockwd down on the way to school is now home. She has badly bruised ribs and a cut head but apart from that she is fine. I've not heard anymore about the other 2 yet.

Hope all the knocked down kids are ok ... as for your 3 don't they show you up at times ...Dulcie told them once at school that she had put a stone up her nose ( SHE HATED SCHOOL ..SHE WAS ABOUT 5 ) they eventually got hold of her dad as I was at Uni at the time he spent hours at the hospital and they could'nt find any sign of the stone , Chris eventually took her home on the way he said Dulcie did you put a stone up your nose .... no she says Iam not that silly !!!!! thought hr dad was going to throttle her when I Got in .... she still has'nt learnt to keep her mouth shut !!!!!!
