Birthday Club Info

Hi to all, Anne had got in touch with me about the birthday club and i explaned how it is run, one lady has to run it, and that lady get all the details (name and address email and birth date)and then she emails the list of birthdays each month or every other month, but there are rules( if you are on the list and dont send a card the the lady whos birthday it is you will have to be taken off the list, that is if you dont let the lady who is running know why you cannot send a card.

Why i know this i am in one and it runs really well, i think you do have to have a few rules,Anne had asked me about me running the club, i said i would, but i am still waiting for Anne to get back to me.

As you can see the girls are all very anxious to get started and have gathered some information for you

Just waiting on Anne folks

I think I must be the only one on here who doesn't do things on other forums
I have joined quite a few but never really stayed around much to do anything with them

I'm only on this one too Sadie, couldn't keep up with more

I am only on this one, I have joined other but found them very unfriendly, they all had little groups of friends and didn't really want others to join in, thats why I was so pleased when I found you lot

I belong to two others. One I joined when I first started making cards and found some of the info very helpful. I also joined their slimming group which was very friendly (we also exchange b'day cards and have a slimmer of the month when we sent a little crafty pressie). Through that I, quite by chance met someone who had worked with my sister who died 5 years ago and through her got back in touch with one of her friends which was really nice. The rest of the site though is as Mikki says a bit cliquey! They are also upgrading the site and it is soooooooo slow that I only go on it now to do my weight changes. The other one I just go on now and again to be nosey and enter their draws.
This one is much nicer 'cos you are all so friendly

Hi there I am on two more forums, have been on the one for ages and its quite friendly on there, the other one I have only just joined but not very happy with it, it is slow and you cant find your way round it

I have enough trouble keeping up with this one. I had signed onto a couple of others but they were nowhere near as good

I am on another site, but someone was kind enough to point me to the CC and it is so lovely on here, all of you are so caring and friendly, and I enjoy `talking and hearing` about everyone, dont know what I would do, if you lot werent around but you are Janet xx

I'm on 2 other forums daily too; check 4 blogs daily and other forums periodically What can I say I have loads of time on my hands ... one of the perks of being diabled and living on your own hehe

After looking at this thread I decided to have a look at other forums and tried registering
What a palaver that was on a couple!!!
Some looked quite good and some were just so MASSIVE you needed a compass to get around them
Still prefer this one by M I L E S

I found other forums very clicky
not like this one everyone just dives in
some more than others as I looked on the
posts and all i saw was my name at the end of
them

That's why I don't hardly ever go there Sis, got friendly with a few people on there and since I was ill they or 1 in particular hasn't given a damn so just staying away, if they want to be like that then let em cant be done with the drama on there all the time anyway lol

Sorry you found the other forum so insensitive, especially as you were not well . Hope we are a bit more supportive here. There are so many lovely people who send encouraging messages and cheer us up with jokes etc. The Crafty Cow really is the friendliest forum I know . Keep up the good workgirls!

I go an have a look most days see whats going on
