Good morning to you all,

I hope you are well and looking forward to the schools going back soon Smile

I have got the Glitter girls new board has you seen it yet, I had a play last night and it's quite difficult at first but you soon get the hang of things and the results are really nice, there is two big corner designs on one board and some medallions on another.

I have spent most of the passed few days making Crimbo cards and I'm sick of crimbo tree and snowy landscapes so today I'm going to make some bright and cheerful cards for any occasion Smile

Alan has been picked for the jury twice now and he really does't like having to say some one is guilty, so he is hoping not to be picked today.

Well, I wish you all a great day.

xx

Just got back from my morning swim (80 lengths today -the furthest I've ever done) Will probably make a couple of cards later this afternoon and tidy up the craft room before going away on Saturday.

Think I'll pop into Kingston on Thames as M&S have a few good things in their sale and I need to stock up on t-shirts (one size smaller!)

This afternoon will be sorting and washing things before packing. Then I need to make a list of food to take as we are self-catering and miles from anywhere. Hope to have lunch out each day but will do the rest myself.

Have a good day -back later

Hi Jane,

Thats a lot of lengths well done.

Were are you going on your holiday? I can't wait until October as we are going to Cornwall again but this time for two weeks.

I hate all the packing and unpacking that has to be done Alan is no help what so ever.

We go self catering also, we tend to have a breakfast and then just one meal either lunch or tea, I don't think I could eat three meals a day even though I should because of the diabetes. I tend to eat loads of fruit when we're driving around.

I hope you have a great time and that the weather is good for you.

Take care.

Morning ladies Smile Careful you don't overdo it Jane, even exercising can be detrimental to your health, ask any doctor Sad

Looking forward to seeing your cards Mikki Smile I love looking at other people's cards its inspirational and interesting how others interpret things differently to how I would Smile

I'm having another rest day so that I will hopefully be able to kick this chronic fatigue bit and be A OK for the weekend and the events that are on over the holiday period Smile

Good afternoon ladies Very Happy

What sort of time are you doing that in Jane, think the longest swim I have done is a mile and I can't remember what time that was in, but it was a long time ago Laughing

CORNWALL: We're going to Mixtow Pill not far from the Eden Project in Cornwall. Never been to that part of Cornwall before - only Newquay and Falmouth and, as we are right on the river, if the weather is bad there's still a nice view if we're reading inside.

EXERCISE: I'm very slow -takes me about an hour to do the mile (breast stroke) but that includes a few rests and chats with other swimmers I know. The first time took me an hour and 10 minutes so I'm improving. I swim 3 times a week now and aim for minimum 1/2 mile (32 laps) - 1K (40) maximum on the other 2 days. I've increased it gradually and don't push it if I'm tired. Doctor is pleased with my progress!
