Tell me something ladies when and who removed some of the hours in the day, I can not belive it is September already, someone must have taken some hours out when I wasnt looking, but I am darned if I know when, one minute it is Sunday the next it is Friday, I thought when I left work there would be more time to do all the things I planned, ya right.. We won £10,000 from a famous Steak and Kidney tinned pie about 12/13 years ago couldnt belive it, opened the lid and there it was, `You`ve won, it did really help us as our daughter was getting married, and it was our 25th, best part was that hubby and I dont eat it, it was for our son who was still living at home Twisted Evil lol!

Me too Janet Exclamation Can't believe I've been retired 18 months and still haven't done all the things I planned to do in the first few months. Don't know how I ever found time to go to work. And have you noticed, or is it me ,that the evenings are drawing in much earlier in the year? Sure it never used to get dark so early last September.

Hi yer all, must have been a little over excited last night, couldnt sleep in this morning, so cranked the comp up to catch up on last night, it not nice here this morning, the wind is blowing and it is raining, it is now that I am really glad I dont have to tramp into work, I would have to leave now, and now I dont bounce bounce bounce You are right Sue the evenings are drawing in so quickly now we seem to get less of the light ones, when you can spend time outside. Sad Oh do I remember the Goblin pies, my brother like them, you can still find them in Tescos Jayne but are few and far between, Gosh Sadie you are just like me, my two are in there 30s, but in my mind I am still their age, hubby would say younger Crying or Very sad but mum use to say whats the sence in growing old if you cant act daft some of the time lol! I already am Shocked No fun in conforming is there. Anyway it keeps the kids on their toes. I remember my youngest son saying to me when I was going out one evening after I'd split up with my ex " You're getting a life" To which I replied " Good isn't it?" and he said "but you're my mum- you're not supposed to "

Oh Sue I know what you mean!
But I bet your son was secretly proud of you Very Happy
I have 2 sons in their 30's and 2 daughters in their late 20's
Alan's 3 boys are all in their early 20's
That makes 7 between us and now it is our turn to wreak our revenge on what they did to each of us when they were kids Laughing Laughing Laughing
Both our families call us a pair of kids
We LOVE it
Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing
Going round a supermarket with us is pure torture for our kids
They just shake their heads and disown us Laughing Laughing Laughing
