Brand New Craft Club

Hi everyone,

Sorry that I haven't been on here for a while a lot has happened in the past fortnight, not only have I had to do hospital visits since my Auntie had her fall - which in fact she is doing a lot better, but still not home yet at least to the weekend could be longer . – I have been working all hours and still coming to the terms that I now have osteoarthritis, it has hit me bad.

However the thing that has kept me going is working on my brand new web site and thought if anyone would be interested in it.

The site is www.portsmouthcraftyclub.co.uk and I am also (people permitting & I know a lot of you guys aren't in my area hence setting the site up as well) going to get a club up & running near to where I live.

If you do live near me or don't mind travelling please drop me a line, would love to meet up with you.

Hi folks

As you all know I have been trying to get a craft club up and running. I have at long last got a venue and booked a date.

I know a lot of you aren’t in the area but I have had a bit of response and that I appreciate.

Anyway the date of the first club meet & greet is on Wednesday 26th November starting at 7.30pm. It is on for 2 hours & for more information (place & directions of the venue) can be found on the information page on www.portsmouthcraftyclub.co.uk.

If anyone can make it, I will be so happy but as I said I know there aren’t many people in my area that belong to this forum.

I will however now I have got the club up (and soon running ) I will also be putting on the web site projects that we will be doing each month plus and idea’s that other people will have.

Will let you know how it went after the first meeting.

Hi folks

just to let you know that the craft club that i set up had our first meeting of the New Year on Wed & what a great evening it was.

10 people turned up and for the first evening i had a lady from Stamping up doing a demonstration so that made me feel at ease

Amanda (from Stamping Up) chatted for a bit about the company then showed us a couple of cards and then we all went to the tables and made them - i will show them on here soon.

Everyone had a lovely time and they all said couldn't wait for the next one - which is on the 25th Feb if anyone wants to join us).

Just want to say hello to Lou thanks for coming i know it isn't in your area but it was lovely to see you & you are welcome anytime and demonstrate as well.
