Back in one piece, covered in dressings and painted with iodine. Hard to type as right hand still numb and anaesthetics won't wear off for another couple of hours. Standing by with the Paracetemol.
Nothing to do except sit and wait now for the biopsy results in 2-3 weeks! Stitches come out in 12 days. Couldn't find any parking spots so had a long walk to the hospital. Drove back very carefully and feeling OK now. Good excuse to be lazy for a fewdays!

Re: HUGE THANK YOU TO SCOTTY
I can't believe you drove yourself Jane. I certainly wouldn't, I would feel too shaky if I had that done. Dont even like going to the dentist if I know I am having something done and Im never with it when I come out Glad you got back in one piece
Re: HUGE THANK YOU TO SCOTTY
Glad to see you're back in one piece! Like Jacky I'm amazed you went by yourself. Couldn'y you get anyone to drive you or did you prefer to be on your own?
Re: HUGE THANK YOU TO SCOTTY
Must admit I feel just a little shaky now -delayed shock and anaesthetics beginning to wear off!
Hubby was at work and friend was busy too.
Hospital is only 3 miles away via quiet roads.
I generally cope well on my own when I have to or in a crisis (then tend to shrivel up afterwards)
