That makes a change!
Probably driving my neighbours mad for a while with my piano practising. Makes a change from all their drilling.
I'm accompanying the pratices for the carol concert next month and need to get up to speed pretty soon. As well as the usual carols there are 5 choir items I am playing for. John Rutter and a Jazz stlye Negro Spiritual medley are the most challenging but great fun to do. Luckily I don't have to play on the night as we have several professional standard musicians and also small orchestra but I get a chance to sing.
There about 50-60 of us in the choir and the church is packed that night with over 550 people and standing room only. We do another one at our 'sister' church the week before but that only holds 250 and we have a smaller choir and no orchestra -just organ, percussion and piano.
Glad I made an early start on my cards! Looks like I'm going to be busy note bashing for a while.

Good luck with your practising. I wouldn't mind if my neighbours played music but all they do is shout and argue
