Made loads of cards today!
On GCF!!!!
They are all printed onto base cream hammered card (except for the lilac rose)then have 2 extra layers of decoupage on them... Quite a selection as I have lots of birthdays this month! Plus 2 sympathy cards using the same cross

Re: Made loads of cards today!
Thanks Jenny, the pictures have come out a bit big on the thread Sorry about that! But at least you can see em properly!!
I've been busy too
My, you have been busy. What beautiful cards! What's inside the turtle one?
I made another 20 cards too (matting and layering and used diecut reindeer and embossed hollywreath, ribbon, brads and vellum squares) My printer is naff so have to make everything by hand.
The fastenings arrived this morning so have been fixing the clasps to 16 necklaces using a hot glue gun. Packaging and labelling took a while too. Made 6 origami boxes and a couple of mini concertina scrapbooks. Just the notebooks and photo albums to decorate - will probably get that done tomorrow and Thursday. At least I now have something to sell for Saturday.
My ladies card club are coming round for drinks and nibbles tonight so busy making mini pizzas, dips, crudites etc. Never a dull moment. Just as well I had a lie in this morning (till 9.00)

I was wondering the same Thought it was some strange computer-speak I hadn't come across.
Re: Made loads of cards today!
Thank You Jan, haven't heard of that one. I bought the My Craft Studio from Create and Craft and haven't used it. Couldn't work out how to work out the size of things, and a bit disappointed with the quality of some of the pictures. Must get it out again as the man I worked with bought it too and he said there is a box you click on to get the template. I just got frustrated with it and gave up
Re: Made loads of cards today!
I've got that as well Jacky. The grid is in centimetre squares apparently so you can size things that way. The newer ones have a ruler on. I have only used mine to print some bits to put on cards never used it for a whole card. Quite like the way you can import pictures from somewhere else on it.
Re: Made loads of cards today!
Thanks Sue, that would make sense - I think I remember creating a random card with lots of bits on it and printing it out to see what size it would come out and it was an A4 sheet and the picture was stuck in the middle of it. Have a feeling I had trouble with the laptop at the time too so wasn't in the best of moods Will give it another go.
Re: Made loads of cards today!
Jan is right hun, Greeting Card Factory... is a brilliant programme for a fast card but can also be adapted quite easily to make decoupage cards, has lovely inserts and brilliant images to work with. Also give the facility (if you print directly onto card) to add your name and contact details to the back and print inserts too.
Re: Made loads of cards today!
Inserts are my biggest bug bear I hate doing them,
I have a job lining them up

WOW! Lou what lovely cards
You have been a very busy person!
I can see that the Crafty Cow Forum has gained a very gifted crafter
GFC.........I have that!
I just can't get the darned thing to load!
I had the scrapbook one and it was ok
But I found I couldn't load both programs into the same computer
I got it from one of those Craft Club choice things
It is lying in my craftrooom gathering dust
I will have to have another go with it now I see the results you are getting
Oh Jacky! I think you were having a bad day!
I have a few of those CDs and they do come in handy but I find it takes up an awful lot of room on my computer
That is why I refuse to have it on my laptop
There are a few free downloads on the official site for that progamme if you already have a disc
Once again Jane you have shamed me into moving, well done
Today I fully intend to spend a LOT of time in my craftroom
Maybe I might even get some photos of it
