Good morning ladies from a very sunny Dover, still chilly but so nice to see the sun
More cards to be made today. I ordered printer cartridges yesterday afternoon and delivery said 3 days, they arrived this morning and with a free calendar so well impressed

Morning Jan & Jayne, and everyone who follows Beautiful day here today. Martin is out putting new felt on the shed roof as we discovered a leak when we emptied it to put the bunnies in. I am going to get on with my cards today and turn the computer off if I can

Oh what it's like to be young. Glad my children are grown up now (that's a lie really, Christmas isn't the same now) I want some grandchildren

My daughter is adament she isn't having any children, she babysits for her cousins children quite a bit but said if anything that makes her more determined I'm not worried anyway, I am not a child person really, wouldn't harm or anything like that but just not a great children person, although I probably have the same mental age as most of them

Good afternoon ladies sunny but cold here, been food shoppingand got my chrissie present from mum and dad, got all my christmas cards wrote and birthday cards ready to post . Girls have gone to town spending their money for christmas . I am now chilling with a cuppa.

Didn't think I was a child person either Jan. Liked mine but not other people's as I got older - that was until I got my own grandson - then it all changes!

I love children really, helped at the school when Sally first started and then got a job for 10 years working at pre-school, until there was so many forms to fill in and no time to play We havent bought any pressies at all yet Some people on here are so organised not mentioning any names I think I will have to go and buy some cards too, just got the list out to amend addresses etc. and need definitely 90 but just realised I need some for the badminton group too - Ohhh and the lady I go to U3A craft with - she is my friends next door neighbour but now I know her too I think I have made about 40 now Right had my cuppa, now back to work. Computer off

I might get them all done if I leave the hand delivered ones until last I bought for the last 2 years to support the Aplastic Anaemia Trust but this year I am giving them all the money I have made for making cards for other people - £70 so that's more than they usually get from me.

Cold and bright here -done all my card and ATC swaps for this month and posted everything now so taking it easy today. My dear husband brought boxes of decorations and the tree down from the loft. He's gone to football so guess who has all the work to do? At least its only once a year. Going to make a cuppa first then crack on with it.

Must start writing the Christmas cards soon - I really hate that job -might give it to Clive to do as punishment for leaving me to do the tree on my own!


Looks like my grandaughters are ready for Santa's visit - they leave him an iced beer on Christmas Eve as its so hot!

Not long now. Have just had a phone call to see if we could do a quiz night tonight at the School. My friends group has just had a couple drop out so we are taking their place We usually have a team when they do one at the school but Sally has got her works Xmas do, Ian had his last night so didn't fancy doing one tonight so we didn't bother. Looking forward to it now, should have swotted up on Christmas quizzes as the answers usually have something to do with Christmas Too late now though
