forgot to tell you

Just after we arrived a very thirsty Koala came down from his gum tree and took a drink from a ladle - the wild ones normally don't come near humans. Will try to post a picture later.

Bring it home with you, I love cuddley Koalas.

Went to a charity cricket match (testimonial for Gillespie if you are cricket fans) about 2000 of us in a little local oval. Lots of families picnicing on the grass and a great party atmosphere. A few clouds and cooler so everyones happier (still high 70s but with a breeze) Been to Sophie my granddaughter's school today and off to do some food shopping now before the next school run. Emily is now 3 (on Thursday) and we took her to swimming lessons where she managed to swim 10 metres without her armbands - talk about proud GPs

Trying out the local buses tomorrow - haven't been on one for years so it will be a novelty! It means we don't need to hire a car till the following week.
