A very good morning to everyone, how are you all today. First cuppa of the day, and washing on The weather here is damp and we have had some rain, so I shall stay in today, tidy my craft bits and make some cards, heaven, also catch up on the craft weekend that I taped, the only one I didnt tape was the one on the parchment last night and I just caught the end of it, and it did look good, she made it look so easy Well have a good day all Janetxxx

Good morning Janet, Jan & Di, and all who follow. Bit overcast but dry here. Off to do a practise run for next weeks walk (won't be running though ) We are the back up to the walk so need to know the route. I have only just recovered from last weeks walk and walking all day on Saturday Parchment really is easy when you are embossing. It is just tracing over an outline and then embossing the sections. It is the grid work I was finding complicated but talking to Pauline at the show made it seem easier. When I have finished what I am doing I am definitely going to have a go Enjoy your day whatever you are doing, life is too short for h*******k I will do the washing tomorrow

I did get to the Make it show on Saturday morning, but I was only able to do half as I was too exhusted and couldn't think straight. I did get to all the stall's I wanted to see and spent loads of money, mainly on paper stuff. I brought the garden gate template from the B-C-E Stall, they do some really good templates, I also got there penny slider and waterfall templates.

There wasn't as many stalls as usual though, but I had a good time and I hope who ever else went also enjoyed their day.

Jane it sounds like you are having a fantastic time in OZ, when are you due back?

I am early today my daughter is coming over today with Lucy havent seen them seems like weeks so wont get much work done today, or cards made till they go home.

Good morning ladies a bit overcast here but mild, going to my parents for my weekly chill and no children we might be having a carvary for dinner has my dad is at the hospital for a check up and it will be late for my mum to do dinner so hopefully he is not in long , then we can indulge yum my mouth is watering has i type did quite a bit of tidying up my craft shed yesterday and i need to still clear the floor has a few beeds went all over and i was too tired to pick them up last night has it was getting dark. Im trying to pace myself now to do a bit but the warm cosy sofa is too comfy hugs to those who need them and enjoy your day if you are off out

Back to normal for me now... have dropped the children off at school - got to go back at 11.00!!!
Where has this month gone to ??? We are in the last week of February.

Morning ladies. Good to see you Jayne. Been to pilates, prepared dinner and am waiting for son to turn up briefly so can't get started on much. Got to go to town this afternoon as well so don't think I'll get much crafting done. I'm itching to have a go at parchment havin bought stuff on Friday at Farnborough and watched the show last night as well.

Glad to see you back on here Jayne and Mikki Glad you made it to the show Mikki even if it was just a short stay, sorry we didnt get to meet you Sue you will have to let me know what you bought in your parchment stash. I have just been trying out a grid but using it with the Christine Coleman stamp so not altogether matching up. Just couldnt resist having a go with the grid Have been for our walk this morning and then replaced all the calories we lost, at the pub. Going to carry on now with my parchment - I am dying to finish what I am doing now to get on with some real grid work

Evening all Sorry I haven't been on here earlier today but I've spent most of the day either talking to Council officials and/or police regarding an incident which happened outside my flat this morning. I wasn't directly involved but his threats and violence were toward another woman who he thought had called the police regarding his behaviour the night before. It was me who called them and naturally as he has a history for violence its been rather traumatic and has left me feeling rather vulnerable and praying he doesn't find out who really called them. So I won't chat much as I'm not very sociable tonight. Huge apologies to everyone and hope you are all well.

Know how you feel Jen, had something similar here a couple of years ago, only difference was it was teenagers but they made our life hell for a while, hope things settle down quickly for you

He's just been arrested, but you know what its like he'll be back in the morning unfortunately Ah well at least I get to sleep soundly tonight he he

Is he a council or housing associaion tenant Jen, if so contact them and they may well be able to do something about him.

He is a Council tenant on his probationary period and the police and tenants want him out but the Council won't do anything as they said there is not enough proof yet that they are a problem !!! Its part of the reason I was so frustrated and het up yesterday. The Council seem to think that we should give him a year or so to see if he will settle down !!!!

I had a similar set too with them last year as they didn't see how we could think that a tenant who had been convicted of ABH on another tenant and was serving the sentence for it was a problem. At that time too they said there wasn't enough evidence to support their removal as a conviction in a court of law is not enough proof for them !!! Apparently even if they kill someone on the site [yes I know at that point I was in sarcastic mode, but the response was the same] not enough evidence and we have to keep their accommodation open for them to return !!!

So ladies please do not ever, ever consider getting Cardiff Council accommodation as their regulations have been written by do-gooders who will not allow law abiding tenants any support.

He is currently sat at home getting ready for today's session !!! His flat is opposite mine and he doesn't have curtains of any kind so we can see directly into his flat
Ah well, at least we got to sleep last night he he and I am feeling a lot less vulnerable today

Luckily with our situation they were private tenants and their landlord raised their rent and they could no longer afford it, so they had to move Councils are no different anywhere Jen, our local council was about as much use as a chocolate fireguard

Yes I agree Jacky. We did make them the offer that they could stay a couple of nights in one of the vacant flats to collate evidence themselves but for some reason we had no takers he he

We have trouble with our next door neighbours now one of the sons has moved out its not so nosie but at the mo we arnt attached to them but we have to share the same path and inbetween our houses at the mo we have 2 bed bases 2 matteries (SP) one 3 piece suite 2 fridge freezers and loads of bags with different things in have rung the council but he is no good so went straight to the invormental health but the thing is they lost a son on xmas day, so i didnt get in touch with the council straight away, has there son was 30yrs old i did leave it till the middle of jan but we dont want rats through the rubbish and also if the kids in our st have a mood on them they could set fire to it then its my house thats in the line of fire also.

So will have to wait and see what happens i know its not like your problem but it does get you down.
