Ooh! Black Friday, I don't consider myself superstitious, and I don't let it keep me in or prevent me doing things, but I'm always pleased when we've safely got through a Black Friday! Take care everyone.

Its been OK here - went to Harndorf Hill Winery for a tasting session (6 different wines - all top notch) and loads of lovely gourmet food shops selling cheeses, pickles and local produce (huge punnets of freshly picked strawberries for about 1.50 each and fresh spinach, avocados, grapes and rock melons.........Yum)

Off to the craft shop for a final browse as last night's class was cancelled due to illness, then on to the beach for a walk. Its been 33 today and a bit humid so have been in the pool for a long soak - due to cool down for the next few days so its probably our last swim......boo hooo...

I here Spiring is on its way and its getting a bit warmer at home. This time next week we'll be back and I'll probably be catching ujp with al the swaps and challenges!

Another nice morning. Got a few jobs to do and a bit of ironing as well. Then sort out what everyone needs for tomorrow!!! Keith and Amy are going into Birmingham to do some shopping, leaving my friend and I to got round the NEC at our own pace!!

A very good morning all, weather here is lovely, early morning sun . Grandson broke his thumb at school yesterday after playing hockey in the morning, it was only when my daughter picked him up at 3.30 that it was found out, he did tell a few teaches he was in pain but nothing was done he is only 13, so what do you do I do hope you all have a wonderful day. My son broke his wrist 4 weeks ago when he
was out with his dad and didnt complain till
the next day he gets his cast off on
Monday, which he is delighted about and so is
the cat, after being donked on the head a few
times with it when they are messing about

Good morning ladies and what a lovely day it is too, took Greg to school and its non uniform day has its comic relief all the teachers have there pj's on . Not much planned except if my cd comes will have a play with that. Hubby is off today and took the car to the garage has it is poorly thinks its the starter motor has it would not budge yesterday. Enjoy your day whatever you are doing and dont walk under any ladders or walk on cracks in the pavement and hugs tpo those who need them

4 weeks, gosh Jayne it must drive them nuts. Nick has just heard from the school and they are going to find out why he was `missed` they have said it was because he is quiet boy. So I surpose it means if he was a `loud mouth` he would have been noticed I expect your son will be having a good scratch soon, and the cat will come out from hiding Lv Janetx

Morning all, not too bad a morning here - bit overcast but warmer Have got to finish Martins card this morning while he is at golf as I didn't get round to doing it yesterday, and another card for my friend. I have decided that when we go to Cheltenham tomorrow I am going to stay there for the week with Mum, Martin will come back home as he is working an extra day anyway next week, then he will come and pick me up again on Friday Thought I would give my sisters a break as they do everything for Mum and she doesn't always appreciate it. I am going to take my cleaning things with me and do a spring clean for her She hasn't been eating properly for a couple of weeks and says she is lightheaded What does she expect. When I spoke to her Wednesday she was eating again and feeling better but thought if I stay with her I can make sure she is eating Mothers !!! Sorry to hear about your grandson Janet terrible that the teachers took no notice of him Glad Deans wrist is better Jayne and the cat will be relieved Hope your cd comes today Andrea - I see Anne has put some lovely new stamps on the web too

That's the trouble Janet, she is always pleased to see us but my sister who goes in every day to take her a paper and check on her and takes her shopping, she moans about constantly. Makes you feel guilty that you can't help as much but can do no wrong Whenever she is getting awkward they let me know so that I can phone and suggest things to her which she wouldn't accept from them

OMG a whole week Jacky, presuming you wont have internet you will be getting withdrawals and we will miss you Will be good to spend some time with your Mum though and make sure she is eating etc

Martin has offered me his little laptop and mobile phone but I think he would miss it too so hopefully I can pop round to my sisters house and borrow my BIL for a quick look. So don't go posting too many things so I don't have to spend too long on there

Hope you are able to get on a few times Jacky, we will all keep you going, know what you mean, my mum, bless her, to her my brother in Turkey was the bees knees, not that she ever saw him it was my brother and myself that did all, but we wouldnt have had it any other way and still miss her now, so get onto your sister computer often Janetxxx
