Hi folks

I have seen some cards through different sites being used with acetate and peel off's and they look really nice so i thought give it a go....................

Getting no where, i have put the peel off on the acetate and then thought............um colour it but what with?

I tried using my sakura pens but they don't work Sad I know that embossing pens won't work on there cos i have tried that as well.

All help would be grateful.

Many thanks

Sakura pens should work on it Christine. You have to work quite slowly to make sure the pens flow easily - I have used the Metallic, souffle, stardust, and the glaze ones look like stained glass window effect. They take longer to dry though Very Happy You could also use glass paints on them Very Happy

Permanent pens should work to, I have used my Galaxy markers on acetate before and it was fine but as Jacky said it does take quite a while to dry properly Smile

Sakura pens should work but you have to use them slowly to allow them to pour out. I remember reading somewhere that you could use any medium you wanted to on acetate if you used Sakura glace clear as a base first so perhaps you could try that if you wanted to use some other medium to colour Smile

Let us know how you get on Smile

Any permanent marker should work but not water based ones.
Have you tried fine Art glitter with the special glue from a fine nozzle - that looks nice if you want a real sparkle
