Sunny Sunday
Good morning ladies The sun is shining here this morning and already feels quite warm
We are off to Herstmonceaux today, stopping at Bodiam on the way for a cuppa and feed the ducks
We always try and get down there about this time of year because they have a lovely show of rhododendrons and they are out around now, but as we saw them early this year might have missed them but it is still a lovely walk around the gardens
Good to hear you did well on your table sale yesterday Jane well done
Brill news about your Mum and her bathroom Jacky and that she is finding it so much easier to use
Hospital apps being postponed is par for the course Frances and the excuses if they even give you one are always pretty lame
Well done on finding a holiday destination Karen, hopefully we can get away somewhere this year I fancy Dorset but then I always do love it down there and would be there in a flash if I could
Well I better get myself in the shower and get dressed, hope you all have a great day whatever your doing and that this weather holds out
Take care xXx

Re: Sunny Sunday
Morning all,
Just time to pop on whilst having a cuppa before I go tackle the garden.... poor neglected thing it is! It hasn't been touched since I went inside! LOL
I can't do the strimming and mowing but at least I can weed and tart it up a bit!
Hope you have a lovely day out Jan, my first weekend out wwe went to Exbury Gardens in the New Forest and the Rhodies and azaleas were stunning...... hope they are still out for you xx
Happy Birthday to Pete, hope you go somewhere nice Jen x By the way, I don't qualify for the bus pass as you should be on the higher rate of mibility and they give me nowt for mobility coz I can walk for 15 minutes! So I could get halfway into town but not get all the way or back LOL!!! But at least with the DLA funds I can afford to get the bus anyway xx

Re: Sunny Sunday
Good morning, just. I've been lazy today, managed the 8 o'clock service but then had a leisurely breakfast and read the Sunday papers more or less until now! I don't read the papers like my husband, (every word of every section) I only read the news sections, and I only scan most of those, but there are such a lot on Sundays.
The rhododendrons are still blooming in our garden, they're wonderful shrubs, each one makes a spectacular display, with massive blooms. Our first to flower, mid April, is a deep red one, then a yellow one is usually out for our daughter's birthday at the end of April, and then we have different shades of red and pink, as well as the ones which have 'naturalised' and are the familiar pale purple colour. I don't know why they change colour, we had some wonderful colours and some striped, but a lot have reverted to their wild colour, and smaller bloom size. Still a nice bit of colour in the garden though.
It's too nice to work, so have a lovely day today, isn't it forecast to be wet tomorrow?

Evening everyone. It's been lovely here today. I mowed the lawn today and cut some of the hedge. If it's nice tomorrow I will try to tidy up along the flower bed and round the washing lines.
