Looks a little cloudy here today and feels a bit cooler too but dont think that will last long
Seagulls were back last night so broken sleep again, think I am going to buy some earplugs and see if that helps or a shotgun

Work today and I do hope it goes quick might come home and have a snooze

Its getting hot here as well. All the windows are open, had the fan on all night.
Got the 3 dogs coming for the day today, Amy is a bit miffed as she has to go to school for what is called Post 16 Induction Day - basically a taste of what Options will be available come September. But the dogs are staying until 9.00 so at least she will see the new puppy.
Forecasters say its going to get even hotter today... it took it out of me yesterday walking up and down to school.
Keith has the Insurance company coming to see him today... dont exactly know why - they have all the details.

Good morning Jan, Karen, Di, Lexie and all who follow. Had a terrible night last night, it was just so hot and sticky. Opened the windows but there was no breeze, put the fan on but it just kept me awake as it has developed a strange whooshing sound which is intermittent. If it was constant I probably could have slept but in the end had to turn it off again Got my BIL coming this morning, he phoned up last night to say he was coming to replace Ians toilet as it is cracked so he needed me to be there to let him in. I phoned Ian this morning to ask where his stopcock was as I'm sure he will want to know and he didn't even know he was coming. You would have thought he would have let him know too, although they were out for a meal last night so perhaps he tried

Dont know how long I will be round Ians so havent made any plans for today Take care all and enjoy your day.

Jan... my hubby has a Smith & Wesson BB gun! Cost me a flippin fortune about 3 years ago! He has this little target which catches the balls as you fire them! Its good fun, especially when you are stressed, maybe I should get a piccy of Georgias headteacher! LOL

morning all well we have sun and heat today not overcast has it has been all the week, so have just rung up for a fan for my office, dont know if i will get one.

Went for physio yesterday and there was this lovely young man sitting there but who did i get you quessed it the young girl, cant win then when i came out of physio i was due a blood test for my gout so has there was no one waiting to go in i went in and got it over with, but i wish i could sue my arm is black this morning i knew it would be because it hurt when she did it, my hubby went to our docs yesterday morn for a blood test and you cant even see where he had it done.

Lexie so sorry about your friends hubby what a shame and so young as well.

Good morning all. Decided to bring laptop downstairs yesterday and use wifi as its sooooo hot in craft room. Definitely no cardmaking for me at the moment. Then couldn't get wifi to work - I think 'cos I'd reloaded everything on computer and not reloaded the router as I don't normally use it. Profile was there but it wouldn't connect so that was my evening spent sorting it. I don't use the wifi much as I can't get the security to work and neither could the guy when he first set it up. I only had it as when Michael lived here we both wanted to use internet at same time and he would have the cable draped across the landing to his bedroom. How I never fell over it I don't know. Off to B&Qs again to get some roofing felt as summerhouse roof has a hole in it. Roy reckons we can do it ourselves but I'm very dubious as he's not a handyman and doesn't like going up stepladders. Going to buy a big tarpaulin to put over it just in case as I have visions of him taking old stuff off and not being able to put new on and I use the place for storage and have nowhere to move it all to.

Good afternoon ladies boy is it hot ive been out to my friends again this morning for another chin wag and the sweat was just pooring off me on the bus there . Ive got in put the aircon on and jumped in the shower , i feel soooo much better now . Going to have a spot of lunch and a glass of milk. Hi girls , went to sainsburys it was empty !!!! So got round in record time .Took flowers to Tracey had coffee with tears and laughter , just so sad . then she tells me its her birthday on sunday! She is having a open house to drink to Rob , I think she is very brave.
Got Dollie fixed up with a weekend in Somerset , then if it goes well she will go for a week ,the lady is lovely . they live in the counrty her husband is a vet , and has a horse !! And Katy is big into crafting , so if Dollie hates it I'll go for a weeks respite !!!!She is actually a customer from the barn , who over the years I have got to know. So I am really pleased about that. Hope every one is ok and not getting tooooo warm , lexie

Well I got the roofing felt and nails (and tarpaulin just in case!) Had to get a nice man to get it off shelf for me and find me right sort of nails, then another young man to load it into car for me and now Roy has decided we'd better get someone in to do it as he doesn't think he'll be able to reach!! Aaaaghgh!!! But I didn't say " I told you so" even though I thought it and could have saved myself all the hassle in the heat this morning.

Oh dear Sue, all I can say is "MEN". Martin had trouble putting felt on the rabbit hutch for Sally Every time he tried to bend it round the edge it split, I think it was too cold so helped by putting my heat gun on it
