Sewing Machines Empty Sewing Machines

Hi,

Does anyone use a sewing machine at all? My mum is looking at buying a reconditioned Toyota 9960 but I cannot find any reviews to see if it is a good model / price. She will be using it mainly for patchwork. If anyone has advice be great to hear.

I do but don't know anything about that one. I have a very old Elna which I love and my mother's Bernina. She swore by it but I have never used it.
