Post  topgran Thu Jul 17, 2008 11:31 pm

Didn't do quite as much crafting this afternoon as I thought. Sad Decided to try a new technique I'd seen called black magic which needed a white gel pen. Now I was sure I had one but could only find clear which doesn't show on black card Exclamation So went off to craft shop in Aldershot cos it was near and I could park free in tesco's Very Happy and get bread at same time. Now remember - I only want one gel pen. 30 minutes later I have the pen Smile and some paper Very Happy ( as if I don't already have enough) and a rubber stamp. Cool That pen cost me 30 quid Exclamation Exclamation Anyway I made the card and have uploaded it to blog.

Hi Sue
I love the card and the others on your blog are great also, you said something about the stamp being fully blocked, what does that mean?

Not sure how to describe it but here goes: if say it is a flower stamp the petals need to be filled in rather than just an outline because after you have stamped it with white pigment ink on black card of course, you let it dry then you colour it with coloured pencils( no need to be precise just do it scribbly!) then outline with white gel pen. Make sense?

No, cos shop only had about half a dozen gel pens!! It worked OK but I think the Sakura ones would probably be better.
