can someone pleaseee explain me when it says cut a card in lets say 4 inches and 3/4 one way and 6 inches and 5/8s

i dont get the measurements between the whole inches, i cand o one inch, one and a half, 2 inches but all those inbetween are really difficult when ur used to cm.


please help me

Ok, on your ruler in between the inches are some little lines. The longish one in the centre is half an inch, the 2 slightly shorter one halfway between are the quarter inches and (as I am without a ruler to hand) you should be able to check the measurements that you need.
I hope this isn't as 'clear as mud'.
Us older ones have the same trouble with cm.

you can find a conversion chart here so 6 and 5/8th inches needs to be changed from a fraction to decimal and would be 6.625 inches. Put this in the conversion chart and it gives you 16.8275 cm. 4 and 3/4ins would be 4.75 inches converted to 12.065 cm. Hope this helps
