Where is everyone? I've been on here for the last hour and no-one to talk to.
Off to work for a couple of hours then I shall be enjoying the promised sunshine this afternoon.

Ahhh... Jane! I am here now... didnt have time to come on earlier
Its a lovely morning, sun is shining and its quite warm out.
Keith has just gone off to physio. He grumbles a bit, he is only in there for about 10 minutes! I make sure he does his exercises at home - he reckons I am worse than the physio's!!!
Having 5 minutes (I always say that, but it NEVER is just 5 minutes!!) before I start the housework.

I'm here in body not in spirit...... Sooooo tired..... someone's blasted car alarm was going off for 3/4 of an hour at half twelve this morning..... just got settled and then the blasted thing went off again at 2am, then again at 3am!

very sad here last night at tea time, a little two year old baby slipped out her house when her mums back was turned and got run over just a few doors up the road from us, the air ambulance landed in the road [ a fantastic sight and such a wonerful pilot to have been able to do it] and took her to a London hospital, we are all keeping fingers crossed she will be ok

Good afternoon all - beautiful day here again today Janet - what a shock for all concerned and the air ambulance are marvellous, I don't know how they land in such small places sometimes. Hope the little one is ok. Sue, glad to see you feeling well enough to have another go at having your hair done Lou, hope you have had a little nap today to make up for what you have lost overnight, those alarms are so annoying when the person who owns the car doesn't hear it Sorry Jane, I had to go out this morning to get some food before we starve. I haven't cooked a meal for so long thought I would make the effort today Put some washing on before I went out and went to hang it out and realised I still haven't got a washing line It's all drying on the airer now. I had a phone call on my new phone which was supposed to be from Orange. The lady said she wanted to tell me about the benefits of the phone I had bought but could I confirm some security questions first. The first one was the first line of my address and the postcode which I was dubious about saying but did. Then she wanted to know the date of my birth - I refused. She said it was necessary because of security under the data protection act so I told her I was securing my data protection by not answering her question. So she just said "thank you for your time" and rang off Still dont know why she needed the information if she was just going to explain the benefits of my phone.

Sounds a bit dodgy to me! You could always ring Orange and ask them if they'd phoned.

I did think that Sue - I don't want to pay for anything more than I have already as it was just an upgrade so I didn't want them to think I was interested either
