Thanks for your lovely Christmas card, I am sorry I have not been on the forum to acknowledge it yet, been a bit manic of late.

We had a proposal to get out last week and I was here to midnight Thursday so the computer was the last thing I have wanted

to be on when I got home.
Then as this weekend is the last one where Andy is completely home we had a list of jobs to hit at home as well.

If you have a photo, could you put it up for me as I haven't been home during decent light to take one myself yet. I will go on this

evening and acknowledge it though - promise!! and yours will be on its way to you by mid week.

so am going to post the card I sent to her......

As I promised Lou, I have come on to say a Big Thank you for my lovely Christmas card. It was gorgeous.
I appreciate you putting the picture on for me Lou, I only ever seem to be at home when it is dark during the week so
photo taking is hard as these energy bulbs are not quite as bright as the old bulbs are they!

Hopefully things will settle a bit soon and I can have a bit more time to keep up with you lovely Ladies.

Lovely card Lou, - hope the work settles down soon Pat. I agree with these lights - I always have to take a photograph first thing in the morning in our dining room as that gets all the light.

I hate the new energy ones so stockpiled the old ones before they stopped selling them! My next door neighbour had put one in his outside security light which then took ages to come on which defeated the object of it being a security light. I noticed at the weekend e'd gone back to the old sort. Much better as it means I can see the lock on my front door now when I come home in the dark!

It will still be early for Christmas Pat Thanks Frances, you seem to have a lot of post go missing from your area - wonder where it all disappears to The trouble is with cards they sometimes contain money and it is always obvious it's a card.
