Where is everyone this morning? Not out Christmas shopping again are you?

Woke up to blizzard conditions this morning and it's still coming down thick and fast. Watched some of the test match when I couldn't sleep because of coughing but feeling a little better today. Good job we have plenty of food in as I don't think we will going far in the next few days. Haven't felt like eating much anyway.

Hope you are all OK out there. Hugs to the poorlies

Good morning Jane, forgot to come on here first thing. Had a phone call while we were still in bed, to ask if we could have Callie as Ian was driving Ruth to the Wedding in Alton. Stopping on the way in Yately to photograph the bride. They got there ok and sounds like they are now on the way to the wedding. Just hope they can get back or Callie may become a resident here Laughing

Really bad snow this morning, could barely see through it over the road. Hardly a car has gone past the house but the ones that have seem to have had no trouble. It's when it freezes and gets packed down the trouble begins. Take care all, especially if you are out on the roads for the next few days.

Evening...

well I have been out shopping today... Amy and I went to Murderhall (aka Meadowhall!!)
it was actually easy to get around in the morning... by 2.00 it was heaving!
Had a really good day, thoroughly enjoyed myself and we got lots done... I have even made a start on my christmas shopping for NEXT YEAR!!! Rolling Eyes
Was amazed at how quick McD's were at serving... and we managed to get a table.
Still got a few more bits to get, but can get them in town.
I have never been this disorganised before, so my New Years resolution is to be organised next year. Already passed that now Laughing Rolling Eyes
We havent any snow, but it is sooooo cold out - when we got to Sheffield, instead of the train going straight through to MH, we all had to get off (problem with the train) and then had to wait 15 minutes for a replacement - it was freezing on the platform and we didnt want to go too far in case the train turned up.
I had an email yesterday morning from Boots saying they had an offer on for Soap and Glory gift set... it was £25 and should sell for £60 I tried to book it online and they had sold out. Keith managed to get 2 today, but they only had 5 left. By the time we got to Boots at MH they didnt have any left.... they have been selling like hotcakes!
Hope everyone is ok, enjoy your evening xx
